I know I haven't posted on this timeline in quite sometime... If you follow any of my other social networks you will see that I'm in the midst of mastering my debut EP "DECLARATION" under my artist stage name PAVON & I'm editing my premiere poetry/anecdote book "The Perfect Imperfection: written by DAVID VICTOR PAVON"... I will give updated about the actual release dates. They will be available in Book/CD/DVD form as well as digital. I'm currently scheduling dates to film the music video/film for "DECLARATION" as well. I look to at least premiere the song on or around Chicago's Gay Pride on a couple of radio talk shows and their is a huge possibility a few remixes will be floating around to some Dj's to play during their sets at the Pride Parade. This past summer I [David Victor Pavon] hosted "CHICAGO LATINO PRIDE" on Radio Vive 750PM. I enjoyed hosting the show and loved all the great feedback and fantastic guests. The topics and issues discussed were on point and we received a lot of attention to some very important subjects. This past fall I was busy promoting clubs and hadn't been able to guest host. But I will make time very soon to get back on the air and guest host very soon. At the moment I'm over looking galley proofs of my poetry that will be published as the final edits are made for the "JOTO Q***r ch/Xicano Poetry Anthology". It's been a long process due to the fact 60 poets work will be in this expansive and cutting edge Anthology being published for Kórima Press. My artistic flare is on fire!!! I received my copy of "PIER QUEEN" this week. It's content of Poetry touches my heart on so many levels. I see and hear myself in Emanuel Xavier's poetry. His work is amazing, poignant and honest. A blunt escape into a reality that is all to real for so many young gay latinos. This is a must read. I recommend this book of poetry to all the young gay latinos out there. In fact I recommend this book to anyone who wants to read into the heart and soul of Emanuel Xavier.
