I don’t know that we talk enough about the quiet ways we love people.

The lunches packed.
The groceries bought.
The dinners made.
The snacks handed over on the way out the door.

They seem ordinary.

Routine, even.

But when you add them up over the years, they’re really thousands of small acts of care.

A thousand little ways to say, “I love you.”

And maybe that’s what I listened to today.

Day 157 of 365.

Some days, the weight of not having all the answers feels heavier than we’d like to admit…Day 156 of 365.

I think a lot of us are putting pressure on ourselves to have the answers.

To know exactly what we’re doing.
To have a plan.
To be further along than we are.

But life doesn’t really work that way, does it?

We’re all learning as we go.

We’re all changing.
We’re all growing.

And sometimes growth feels messy & uncomfortable before it feels beautiful.

So if this season feels uncertain…you’re probably not the only one.

Honestly, I just don’t want a caffeine-elevated reading that’ll make my Dr suggest bp meds when I’m all good.

Anyone else?

Day 155 of 365.

Today’s lesson came from a few bags of mulch.

I know. Stay with me.

The difference wasn’t dramatic while I was doing it.

But when I stepped back…

it completely changed the space.

And it made me wonder how many good things in life happen the same way.

Small choices.
Small efforts.
Small improvements.

They rarely feel life-changing in the moment.

But over time?

They add up to something beautiful.

Who have you lifted up today?

The simple act of tagging someone is kind, bc in acknowledging them you're sending a message that you care.🧡

Day 154 of 365.

Today, someone I respect shared a perspective I haven’t stopped thinking about.

She said that over time, she realized the things she once looked for outside herself…

peace,
grounding,
strength,
calm…

were never really outside of her at all.

The objects helped her remember.

But the qualities themselves were already there.

And maybe that’s true for more of us than we realize.

Maybe the courage.
The resilience.
The wisdom.

Maybe it’s already within us too.

We just need to remember how to call it forward.

You ARE strong enough!

You ARE strong enough!

For years, I said absolutely not.

Not because I wanted to crush his dreams. Because I worried. About injuries. About concussions. About all the things parents worry about.

But he kept asking.

Year after year.

And this morning, I dropped my 12yo off at football camp.

I’m still nervous. I suspect I always will be.

But I’m also proud of a kid who cared enough about something to keep showing up, keep asking, and keep working toward it.

Parenting is full of moments where your heart and your head don’t quite agree.

Today was one of them.

For more than five years, I’ve made the tooth fairy pillow.

Lately, I’ve been playing around with a new version, and now I can’t decide what to do.

If you were shopping for your child, which one would you choose?

The original?
Or the new design?

And tell me why. That’s the part I’m most curious about. 😊 🦷✨

Day 153 of 365.

When I was younger, exercise was often about how I looked.

Now it’s about how I want to live.

Strong enough to carry groceries.
Strong enough to travel.
Strong enough to keep up with my kids.
Strong enough to age well.

The goal isn’t perfection.

It’s showing up for your future self.
