DDW 2026: The most breathtaking sites and the most inspiring people. The biggest GI conference to exist happened during my birthday week. Residency has its highs and lows, especially the monotony of the daily grind that makes it very easy to forget why I started this journey in the first place, but occasions like this are just what I needed. PGY-2 is a whole different kind of stress and seeing giants in the field I aspire to be, come together and collectively be in awe of how far the specialty has come and the potential it has to grow…. I want to be a part of that growth. Beyond grateful to participate in DDW. Chicago became more than just the windy city for me, it became the city of hope. 🧿✨🫶🏼
