Dinner that lets you stay outside until the last minute? Yes, please. 👏🏼

Here’s the easiest make ahead meal so you can prep when you have time (before the kids wake up, during naptime, whenever). Then just pop it in the oven before dinner while you’re outside soaking up the sun and playing the day away. ☀️

Quick Prep Pasta Bake:
- 1 8oz box chickpea or lentil pasta (cooked)
- 1 lb ground beef (cooked & seasoned)
- 1 jar of your favorite pasta sauce
- A handful (or two) of shredded mozzarella and some Parmesan

Mix it all together, pour into a casserole dish, top with a little extra cheese, and refrigerate until ready to bake. Bake at 350 F, covered, for about 35-45 minutes until bubbly.

🧡 Bonus: Add a tray of veggies! I did carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower — just chop, toss in oil & seasoning, and roast while the pasta bake cooks (might take a little longer than the pasta).

No standing over the stove while your kids beg to go outside. Just press start, and go play ❤️

A quick no-cook breakfast idea! I’m taking a little break from posting but thought I’d throw out another idea for busy mornings 💜

💜 .restore açaí powder mixed into vanilla Greek yogurt, plus sprinkles. Colorful, and so delicious! (Use code KELLYR20 for 20% off of your Nature Restore order)
💜 Hard boiled eggs from 🥚 They come pre-peeled to make your morning even easier! I cut these with a crinkle cutter.
💜 Whole wheat toast with peanut butter and slices of banana. Another carb + protein boost.

Nutritious, balanced, toddler approved 👏🏼👏🏼

We’re not a meat-free family, but I do like to serve meatless meals, especially when they’re simple and still full nutritious food! 🍎🥣🫐

What’s on the plate:
❤️ A homemade protein muffin (recipe is in my reels tab! Or on my grid, right next to this post)
❤️ Greek yogurt, plus sprinkles to make it fun
❤️ Apple slices with a peanut butter drizzle (just microwave a small bowl of nut butter and drizzle on top - so much easier than dipping apples in nut butter!)

Nothing fancy, just a mix of things I know my kids will actually eat. And, no meat! We do loooove breakfast sausage, turkey bacon, and regular bacon. But, on days where I know we’ll have higher sodium or more processed food, we try to avoid it.

Here’s why this meal works ⬇️⬇️⬇️
This combo has protein, healthy fats, and carbs to help keep their bellies full and energy up. I’m not a dietician, just a mom trying to make balanced meals without overcomplicating it. Altogether, this has around 14 - 15g of protein, which is plenty for a little one at breakfast! 🥰

🍓 10 easy nut free snack box pairings, perfect for school days or summer days on the go! Each box has two sides: one with fruit or veggies, one with a little something salty, cheesy, or sweet. These are super simple to toss together and toddler or big kid approved. Just be sure to cut things like carrots according to age! ⭐️

💬 comment “snack box” and I’ll send you the link to the box I use!

🧀 Cheese often gets a bad rap, but it can actually be a great school snack, especially when nut butters aren’t allowed (like my daughter’s preschool). It’s full of protein and healthy fats to help keep kids full, focused, and energized until lunch. Paired with fruit or veggies for fiber, it can be a balanced, nourishing start to their day ❤️

Here are the combos:
1. parmesan crisps & cucumber spears
2. blackberries & date balls (just blend soaked dates and oats and roll!)
3. cheddar cheese & strawberries
4. orange slices, blueberries & cheese
5. strawberries &
6. sliced green peppers & american cheese
7. carrots, blueberries & muenster cheese
8. orange slices & goldfish
9. apple slices & graham crackers (mine are homemade: recipe on my page. But, store bought works too)
10. cucumbers & colby jack cheese

simple, satisfying, and totally nut free. No cooking required!
