What's something you and your mom friends have experienced together that makes you stop and say, "Where did the time go?"

Was it the first day of preschool?
The middle school years?
Getting their driver's permit?

Because I blinked, and somehow our preschool babies became teenagers.

Happy Birthday to my sister from another mister. šŸ¤ MrsAqua Wright Ellis

It's hard to believe we've been doing life together for almost 10 years.

Our babies started out in preschool, and now we're watching them grow into high school sophomores. Somewhere between school drop-offs, field trips, birthday parties, homework, sports, tears, laughter, and all the beautiful chaos of motherhood, our friendship grew too.

I love you for your friendship.
I love you for your heart.
And I love the way you've shown up through every season of life.

Watching our children grow has been one of the greatest gifts, but having a friend walk alongside me through it all has been just as special.

So today, I celebrate you and pray this year brings you joy, peace, laughter, and every blessing your heart can hold.

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor. If either of them falls down, one can help the other up." — Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

šŸ©šŸ„› Busy Mom Snack Check! šŸ„›šŸ©
If you're running errands, shuttling kids around town, squeezing in a workout, or trying to survive the summer schedule without living in the drive-thru line, let me put you on to a combo I've been loving:

šŸ« Legendary Protein Doughnut — Chocolate (my favorite!) šŸ¤ Legendary Protein Doughnut — Vanilla (my son's pick) šŸ„› Fairlife Core Power Protein Shake
It gives "sweet treat" energy while still helping me hit my protein goals. Because sometimes motherhood looks less like meal prep perfection and more like grabbing something quick between Target, soccer practice, and your fifth trip back into the house because someone forgot something. šŸ˜…
And speaking of motherhood...

One of the greatest fruits of our labor is watching our kids finally show up when it's time to do chores.

Or at least that's the prayer. šŸ˜‚
šŸ‘¶ Ages 3–7: "I put ONE toy away. Where's my reward?"
šŸ§’ Ages 7–11: "I cleaned my room." Translation: Everything is now under the bed.
šŸ‘¦ Ages 12–17: "Why do I have chores? This feels personal."
šŸ§‘ Adult children living at home and not paying bills: "Can you take out the trash?" "I was literally just about to do that."
Sure you were. šŸ˜‚

But honestly, that's the beauty of family. We spend years planting seeds of responsibility, character, faith, and consistency, trusting that one day we'll see the harvest.

Until then, I'll be enjoying my protein doughnut and shake while supervising from a comfortable distance. 😌

What's one fruit of your labor you're seeing bloom this season—whether in your fitness journey, your family, or your faith? 🌱✨

šŸ© It's National Doughnut Day!

What's one small win you're celebrating this season?

Mine? Getting a two-for-one special!
Because who doesn't love donuts!

For the longest time, if I wanted my favorite treat from , I had to make a special trip to a far, far land called Orland Park. šŸ˜‚

But now...

I can grab my groceries AND stop by for a fresh, delicious doughnut right in my local .

Now that's what I call stewardship... especially with these gas prices! ā›½ļøšŸ˜‚

As moms, sometimes the only way things get done is if we attach one task to another. That's called habit stacking, and it's been a game changer for me.

Here are 3 simple habit-stacking tips:

ā˜• Attach a new habit to an existing one.Listen to a devotional while your coffee brews.

šŸ›’ Use errands wisely. If you're already out shopping, knock out two or three small tasks during the same trip.

🌱 Stop waiting for perfect.Small, consistent actions beat occasional perfect ones every time.

Which brings me to doughnuts...

Some doughnuts have holes.

Some don't.

And honestly, motherhood feels a lot like both.

The doughnuts with holes remind me of all the gaps:

• The gaps in my schedule.• The gaps in my sleep.• The gaps in my memory when I walk into a room and immediately forget why I'm there.• The gaps in my patience after answering the same question seventeen times.

But then there are doughnuts without holes.

Full.

Complete.

Covered in goodness.

And they remind me that God has a way of filling the places where we feel empty.
For me?

Today it looks like gratitude, groceries, and a fresh apple fritter. šŸ From

This June, I’m learning that stewardship isn’t just about what I spend—it’s also about how I care for the body God entrusted to me.

And listen... after the workout comes the real test of faith. šŸ˜‚ Not resisting temptation in the gym, but resisting the drive-thru afterward!

So today I chose fuel over fast food:🄚 Eggs for protein🐟 Salmon for healthy fats and strength🌱 Chia seeds for fiber and nourishment🄯 A delicious sourdough bagel from Dough GirlsšŸÆ Garlic honey from Honey Grove because apparently God loves flavor too!

Because some days we meal prep. Some days we miss a workout. Some days we eat the cookie.

And every day, we thank God for His grace while continuing to plant better seeds tomorrow.

🌱 Legacy Garden Reflection:The Proverbs 31 woman intentionally strengthened herself for the work ahead. Taking care of our bodies isn’t vanity—it’s stewardship. Our health impacts our energy, our families, our ministries, and our ability to serve others well.

The stronger and healthier we become, the better equipped we are to cultivate the fields God has assigned to us.

✨ June Challenge: Fruits of Our Labor• Move your body in a way that honors God• Choose one nourishing meal today• Support a local business or farmer• Drink more water than coffee (I’m praying through this one šŸ˜…)• Thank God for the body He has given you• Extend yourself grace while building healthy habits

What is one thing you've been denying yourself because of mommy guilt that you're finally giving yourself permission to do?

"I am responsible for my own response."

Mommy guilt often shows up when you feel torn between caring for everyone else and caring for yourself. It whispers that every moment spent investing in your dreams, resting, healing, or growing is somehow taking away from your children.

But here's the truth: your children do not need a depleted version of you. They need a healthy, whole, growing version of you.

How I navigate mommy guilt is by reminding myself that taking care of myself is not abandoning my family—it's strengthening my ability to serve them. I am teaching my children that women can nurture others without neglecting themselves.

Moms, it's time to give yourselves permission.

Permission to rest.
Permission to dream.
Permission to pursue your purpose.
Permission to say no without guilt.
Permission to grow beyond the version of yourself that only existed to meet everyone else's needs.

You are allowed to be a mother and still be a woman with goals, desires, gifts, and a calling.

The moment you stop apologizing for becoming who God created you to be is the moment mommy guilt begins to lose its power.

🌱 Your growth is not a betrayal of your family.

One of the hardest things I’ve had to overcome is grieving the old version of myself.

The woman who only knew how to survive.
The woman who felt guilty for wanting more.
The woman who believed she had to choose between family and purpose.

God is teaching me that becoming a Proverbs 31 woman isn’t about perfection.

It’s about transformation.

šŸ“– ā€œShe considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.ā€ — Proverbs 31:16

A few things God has been teaching me lately:

✨ You don’t have to choose between your family and your calling.

✨ Your children benefit from seeing you pursue God-sized dreams.

✨ Growth often requires grieving who you were to embrace who you’re becoming.

✨ Mommy guilt cannot sit in the driver’s seat of your purpose.

✨ Faith means moving forward even when you don’t have all the answers.

Today, I’m grateful for the support system God has placed around me.

My son and daughter continue to change my life every day. They taught me unconditional love, resilience, and the importance of building a legacy worth leaving behind.

And when life gets hard?

God.
Family.
Faith.

That’s what keeps me moving forward.

I want to invite you to stop minimizing The gift is the doorway.Love is the language. And God is the One ministering through it all. ✨

Your gift was never meant to be hidden.God can use what you naturally love to do to heal, encourage, teach, and reach others. šŸ¤

šŸ“– ā€œAs each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.ā€ — 1 Peter 4:10

Stop Waiting for Permissionā€ by Stephen Chandler truly challenged me as both a leader and a softball coach.

One of the chapters that stood out to me most was ā€œToo Big To Do It Alone.ā€ That chapter deeply resonated with how I lead my team because greatness is never built in isolation. Every successful team requires trust, vision, communication, and people willing to work together toward something bigger than themselves.

As a coach, I understand that leadership is not just about giving instructions — it is about creating confidence in the people who are depending on you.

My favorite chapter was ā€œWise Leap of Faith.ā€
The quote that stayed with me was:
ā€œThere’s never been a home run without a swing of the bat.ā€

That immediately connected to softball for me. If you never take the swing, you never give yourself the opportunity to reach the base, score the run, or experience growth. Fear cannot move runners forward. Action does.

That principle mirrors leadership, faith, business, motherhood, and personal development.

Pastor Chandler’s formula for a confident leap:
Wisdom + Peace + Counsel
…perfectly aligns with my coaching philosophy.

As a softball coach, my girls depend on me to know when it is safe to steal a base, when to stay planted, when to advance, and when to trust the next play. Especially in moments where we have runners on first and third, every decision requires unity, timing, communication, and trust.

That immediately reminded me of 1 Samuel 14:7

ā€œDo all that you have in mind,ā€ his armor-bearer said. ā€œGo ahead; I am with you heart and soul.ā€

That scripture reflects the culture I want to build within my team. I want my players to know:

• I have their best interest.

• I am committed to their development.

• We m
