Chicago’s ACROBATIC Band: The Jeremiah Review!
Acrobatic in the way they play that is! Witnessing these professional musicians play with their full physical and spiritual selves, head-to-toe was cathartic! From catharsis to explosion and back again this past weekend was every ounce of electric ⚡️
Lots of music coming out of Chicago in 2024, and one of the most powerful artists out right now is Jeremiah Hunt () on Bass. 4th of July + NASCAR?! This was the most valuable summer performance weekend in the city!
Listen! The Jeremiah Review served, not good, but GREAT music!
The fearless band leader, Jeremiah Hunt, knows how to put together a band.
This weekend went as follows:
Bass: Jeremiah Hunt ()
Piano: Andrew Toombs ()
Tenor/Soprano Sax + Flute: Mike Emmert ()
Drums: Jonathan Pinson ()
The precision and POWER with which these all-star musicians play is unbelievable. What really sets them apart is their timing, professionalism, the ability to play a variety of grooves within the same genre, their tightness as an ensemble, and the passion undeniably expressed from their hearts, to their limbs, and then through their instruments.
Friday + Saturday audiences had an extra special treat as the band welcomed Spoken Word Artist + Vocal Craftswoman Jessica F. Morrison (.Official) to join them onstage. Performing only one piece per set she elevated the empathy levels in the room to ULTRA-HIGH.
