Here’s how actors / influencers can lean into culture-building (not just content distribution):

🎭 Own the narrative, don’t just tell it.
Brands often think they own the story and creators just help tell it. But when creators lead campaigns — from concept through ex*****on — you turn the story into a shared cultural moment. That’s how you shift perception.

🚀 Experiment boldly, even (especially) when it risks failure.

What a week it was! Invigorated to be in the mix at AFM and happy to be shopping GREAT projects from our clients. 🥇

** 3 Takeaways from The Film Market **

AFM, the international marketplace for film sales, financing and developments, was this week in LA. The vibrancy, optimism and future-focus can’t be stressed enough. We’ve been SHOUTING there is a NEW HOLLYWOOD emerging and you can feel it on the ground at events like this. Old models are beyond archaic, the trends you thought would catch on by now (see V.R.) aren’t even on the discussion floor anymore and the word versatile is a necessity to a career, no matter your angle.

Here are THREE overarching takeaways from our experience at AFM.
✔️ It’s all about AI. It’s not a surprise, but if you’re still rolling your eyes at AI in film/tv, you are already done. AI is not A thing, it is THE thing.

✔️Projects are selling. Projects are getting financing. But in today’s landscape and the current economy, nothing is a guarantee. Expectations of the market in the NEW HOLLYWOOD must heavily accounted for.

✔️ Despite the challenges, especially for Indies, AFM was a bustling exchange. Not only is access to REAL players in the industry open to those with good projects, the energy of community and creative synergy was happening all week.
