The fascinating and tragic story of Preah Vihear Temple. This ancient site, with its magnificent stones that have stood for over a thousand years, has seen much conflict.

Thailand used F-16s in a dispute over this historical gem, and it made me think: Why are we allowing modern conflict to overshadow such a rich heritage? The stones of Preah Vihear Temple hold stories from our past, and they should not bear the weight of today’s battles.

Let’s remember that history is not just about the past. It’s about how we choose to honor it in the present. We need to protect these cultural treasures, not turn them into pawns in a power game.
