UChicago Bite is a quarterly UChicago food publication that provides recipes, high-quality food photography, restaurant reviews, college cooking tips, student spotlights, and more to hungry college students. We aim to highlight Chicago's extraordinarily diverse and rich food scene and give food-loving students a platform for sharing their own unique culinary discoveries and experiences in the city

. Bite's goal is to help you eat well, whether you're at a five star restaurant, your home kitchen, or just Bartlett Dining Hall. Bite is proud to be an entirely UChicago student-produced operation, from the photographs and layout to the articles and reviews. Stay hungry!

“A college apartment complex is an unlikely location for a fancy, five-course meal,” starts Abby Yuhan’s review of Hyde Park’s student-run restaurant, the Crescent.

The Crescent offers weekly five-course meals featuring dishes like cucumber noodles and smoked sturgeon in a dill cream sauce, and corn soup with a Gouda foam and toasted couscous (pictured).
