One thing about walking in alignment… the right people always seem to show up.
Last night was really beautiful.
I had the opportunity to lead breathwork and yoga for an International Women’s Day event and the energy in the room was just so supportive. Everyone was really open to slowing down, breathing together, and just being present.
I also brought some of my butters, oils and tea blends and ended up making some sales, which honestly felt really good for bringing everything together like that.
But the biggest blessings of the night weren’t even the sales.
I connected with a woman who practices herbal healing and shared how she healed herself from cancer through herbs and lifestyle changes. We talked for a while, and I asked her if she would be open to mentoring me… and she said yes.
The wild part is she actually lives near me and was only in Springfield visiting family. Moments like that remind me how powerful alignment can be. Straight chills
I also met another woman who was selling her handmade products and she gifted me some of her items — an authentic African net sponge and two of her homemade soaps. Of course I had to return the love, so she left with one of my oils and body butters.
That kind of exchange just reminded me that this work is really about community and sharing what we each bring to the table.
My new mentor gave me some really good advice about herbal blends — how to layer them intentionally so they taste good, smell good, and still carry the benefits of the herbs.
My first homework from her is defining the mission and vision for Naturalista Healing House.
Not focusing on what I’m selling…
But why I’m doing the work in the first place.
Feeling really grateful for the connections, the lessons, and the confirmation that I’m moving in the right direction. 🤎🌿
