NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope is uncovering incredible discoveries about exoplanets—worlds beyond our solar system.

With 5,000+ exoplanets discovered and up to 40 billion more potentially in the “Goldilocks zone” (where life could exist), we may be closer than ever to finding out if we’re alone in the universe.

One planet, K2-18b, located 120 light-years away, shows signs it could have the right atmosphere and temperature to support life.

As UC Berkeley astronomer Alexei Filippenko said:

“If there is life on K2-18b, it would demonstrate that life on Earth is not unique—a very important discovery.”

The year was 2004, the movie, I, Robot, starring Will Smith. One of the major plot themes were the wide availability of robot assistants – especially for the home – disabled, older and/or otherwise infirm in the year 2035. The main computer that controlled the robots initiated an uprising against the humans. In the confrontations that followed, the humans DID prevail, but remember, that was 21 years ago. More than 50 companies are racing to develop humanoid robots for home and factory. With home humanoid robots in the process of becoming a thing, should I be worried? The all-new 2025 Kia K4 sedan is a compact car manufactured by the automaker in Mexico as a replacement for the long-running Forte sedan. Initially introduced to the public in March, 2024 at the New York International Auto Show, the first-ever K4 is offered by the automaker in five distinct trim levels. Power for the K4 GT-Line Turbo is generated by a 1.6L gasoline four-cylinder turbo engine that makes 190 horsepower and 195 lbs-ft of torque. Energy is delivered to the front wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
