COLOR OUT OF SPACE
2019 ‧ Horror/Sci-fi ‧ 1h 51m
An H.P. Lovecraft tale of cosmic dread centers around The Gardners. Nathan Gardner, his wife Theresa, and their three children have relocated from urban life to an isolated farmhouse situated west of Arkham. During one fateful evening, a meteorite radiating an otherworldly hue descends into their front yard, only to mysteriously vanish shortly thereafter. The family soon discovers bizarrely pigmented insects and vegetation flourishing in the surrounding area. Ward Phillips, a hydrologist investigating the region's water table, uncovers a troubling truth: the family's well water has become contaminated by the meteorite's residue, poisoning their supply. The consequences prove horrifying—Theresa accidentally severs her fingertips while preparing a meal, while Nathan's skin begins transforming into scales. The farm animals undergo grotesque mutations, and in a catastrophic turn of events, Theresa and young Jack become fused together by the meteorite's destructive energy.
