At long last…

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧!

🌊𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺!🌊

We heard you! After nearly 100 years, Purcell Marian High School has finally got its own pool! Located on the rooftop of the 3rd floor, this in-ground pool is heated, allowing our students to take a dip between classes year-round!

"We are making big waves in education at Purcell Marian! Pool-based learning is going to be the next thing big thing in education," said a totally real administrator on behalf of the school. "Aquatic student retreats, aquatic mock trial, aquatic parent-teacher conferences, aquatic IB testing... the possibilities are truly endless!"

And, we are thrilled to announce that we are accepting pool reservations for milestone reunions to allow our alumni to enjoy! Suit up for your milestone 50th and dive on in at the Castle! 🌊🏰

Start of the eclipse here in the labyrinth at Graceland Pond. It might be the warmth but saw a record number of sunning turtles, and a pair of Wood ducks walking in the labyrinth — like Chuck Berry. Beautiful day but getting weird. The animals are making noises like questions. Like “whaaa?? Waz goin down? What’s da word? (Thunderbird). What’s shakin? (Nuttin but da leaves on da trees braagham). Who you gone call? (Ghostbusters). What’s happenin captain? What’s the dang deal? (Lucille).
