Lindsay Morgan Snyder is an author, speaker, producer, and television
host who has spent the last 15 years exploring one deceptively simple question:
What is love, really?
For Lindsay, that question began with God.
Scripture tells us that "God is love" and that "we love because He first loved us." Those verses became the foundation of a personal journey for Lindsay as she began to understand that loving God, loving other people, and even loving ourselves starts with first learning how to receive love from Him.
That journey became deeply personal. Lindsay had to confront her own self-hatred, inner critic, codependent patterns, and some of the unhealthy behaviors she had mistaken for love. As she learned to emotionally connect with herself and with God in healthier ways, she began to recognize something: we can't give away what we don't carry.
Eventually, that exploration of love became more than Lindsay's personal story. It became the thread running through her work.
She wrote Letting Love In, created workshops and faith-based curriculum, and began developing original entertainment projects, including a children's animated series, a faith-based romantic comedy, a feature film inspired by her book, and her newest project, a relationship-focused talk show built around the idea: Exploring Love in the City That Sold Us a Fairy Tale.And that's where Lindsay's story gets a little funny.
She's 49. She's single. She's never been married or engaged. She was born without the ability to have biological children, and she openly admits that marriage has scared her.
So naturally, God gave her an assignment about love.
Now, living in Los Angeles, Lindsay is turning her questions toward romantic love and toward the industry that has helped shape generations of ideas about it.
