Tonight reminded me why women in the car scene get frustrated.

A guy I’ve known for 15+ years looked me dead in the eye and asked, “I raced you? What do you even drive?”

Meanwhile, everyone standing around immediately remembered my black Cobra Mustang and corrected him.

Maybe it was a memory issue.
Maybe it wasn’t.

Either way, after nearly 20 years in this community, helping run a car club since 2007, racing, showing, winning trophies, and being involved in countless events, it’s wild that some people still act like we’re just spectators.

Respect costs nothing. 🏁
