After weeks of being sick and feeling behind, last night’s practice run reminded me what my body can still do. It did something to my spirit. Needed that.

Still no wild expectations for Sunday. I just feel ready again. And that’s enough 💫

I’m less than 1 week out from my first HYROX and this is not how I thought any of it would go.

I was supposed to be doing this as a doubles race, and didn’t realize I’d be running it solo until I was already deep into training. Then I got sick.

Not 1x or 2x, but 3x. Back to back to back. And the 3rd time had me down badddd. Now I’m about 85% recovered but I only have 4 real training days left.

So right now the goal is to just finish. the. race.
No perfect pacing plan and no fantasy finishing time. Literally just finish. Even if it takes 3 hours 😭

Definition of doin the best with what I got!
