It’s so weird that when men post pics shirtless and flexing it’s all ‘wow bro you look great’ ‘hard work paying off’ but a woman posts in an outfit that’s cute and it’s ’attention wh0re’ or ‘dress more modest’. I used to think it was about what we wore until I realized it’s about our gender.

Content creator & influencer are two different things.

I find it interesting that content creation/influencing is dominated by women and it’s looked down on by society. A man does content or posts from a festival and he’s ’so cool’ ‘wow inspo bro I want to attend’ but a woman does it and she’s met with scrutiny and her intentions are IMMEDIATELY questioned because why are you posting at a festival, clearly you’re not there for the music 🙄

It’s actually wild to me that as a VISIBLY alternative woman I have people tell me im the reason the scene is dying or going mainstream, meanwhile those on my page see how hard I work to keep the beauty of the edm scene alive. You won’t ever make everyone happy so CHOOSE YOU NO MATTER WHAT 🖤
