says people criticizing her parenting are missing one major detail about her son spending time with his grandmother.

Her mother isn’t simply watching Yosohn because Ari doesn’t want to parent.

According to Ari, she financially retired her mother and created an arrangement where grandma serves as Yosohn’s nanny and teacher while homeschooling him.

“My mother that I RETIRED is his nanny and teacher,” Ari explained while responding to people calling her a “deadbeat.”

She also said she hopes other people eventually reach a position where they can retire their parents and allow them to live financially free.

Ari has defended her parenting before, repeatedly saying her son is well cared for and pointing to the support system she has built around him.

But the situation raises an interesting parenting debate.

If a child is safe, loved and being raised with significant help from grandparents, does it really matter that the arrangement looks different from a traditional household?

Would you let your child live primarily with grandma if you financially supported the entire household?
