“Song of the Lost River” is a powerful Indian musical in English, written and directed by Atamjit, recipient of National Awards for his pathbreaking work in theatre.
The production brings to life the story of Gulab Bai, the legendary Nautanki Queen, portrayed by the versatile actress Madhura. Through music, drama, and dance, the show recreates an era where art, passion, and tradition collided with changing times.
This one-of-a-kind musical combines the richness of Indian storytelling with the accessibility of English, making it a unique cultural experience for audiences of all backgrounds.
