The bottom wear plate on my excavator bucket had worn thin near the rear corner and was starting to deform under heavy digging. I cut the damaged section back to sound steel, fitted a new 1/2 inch abrasion-resistant plate, and welded it across the bucket floor with multiple staggered passes. I added a second smaller wear strip along the rear transition to protect the repaired edge from concentrated abrasion. After dressing the surrounding edges flush, the bucket floor was straight and reinforced for continued digging. The final welds were left unpainted and fully visible.

The side cutter mounting section on my excavator bucket had cracked near the upper corner and the cutting edge was beginning to sit unevenly. I removed the damaged section, fitted a new 1/2 inch wear-steel plate, and welded it into the bucket side with seven passes. I added a 3/8 inch reinforcement strip behind the new plate to spread the digging load along the bucket wall. After checking the cutter alignment against the bucket edge, everything sat straight and tight. The final welds were left unpainted and fully visible.

The small handhold beside the excavator boom foot had cracked at its mounting base and was starting to twist when used during service access. I removed the damaged mounting plate, fabricated a new base from 3/8 inch steel, and welded it to the boom support with six passes. I fitted a new 1 inch round-bar handhold and added a pair of short gussets beneath the base to resist side loading. The handhold stays straight and rigid now, giving a firm grip without interfering with the boom components. The final welds were left unpainted and fully visible.

The steel divider separating two hydraulic hose bundles near the excavator boom foot had cracked at its mounting point and the hoses were beginning to rub against each other. I removed the damaged divider, fabricated a new separator from 3/16 inch steel plate, and welded it to the existing support with five passes. I added rounded 1 inch flat-bar edges so the hoses would not contact a sharp surface during boom movement. After cycling the boom slowly, the two hose bundles stayed separated with enough room for normal movement. The final welds were left unpainted and fully visible.

The mud scraper inside the excavator track frame had worn thin and cracked away from its mounting bracket. Mud was packing around the lower track area instead of being cleared as the track rotated. I removed the damaged scraper, fabricated a replacement edge from 3/8 inch wear-resistant steel, and welded it to the support bracket with six passes. I added two short reinforcement tabs behind the scraper to keep it aligned under repeated contact with packed soil. After slowly cycling the track, the scraper stayed aligned with consistent clearance. The final welds were left unpainted and fully visible.

The hood prop bracket on my wheel loader had cracked at the mounting tab and the engine hood would not stay securely supported during service. I removed the damaged tab, fabricated a new bracket from 1/4 inch steel plate, and welded it to the engine compartment frame with five passes. I added a 3/4 inch round bar stop so the prop arm seats in the same position every time. The hood now opens fully and the prop stays firmly seated without shifting. The final welds were left unpainted and fully visible.

The guard over the track tension adjustment area on my excavator had cracked at its rear mounting fl**ge and was beginning to vibrate against the track frame. I removed the damaged fl**ge, fabricated a new mounting section from 1/4 inch steel plate, and welded it to the guard with six passes. I added a short formed rib across the center of the guard to prevent it from flexing. After checking the track movement and adjustment area, everything stayed clear with no contact. The final welds were left unpainted and fully visible.

The handrail base on my excavator service platform had cracked around the mounting fl**ge and the rail was starting to wobble when used for support. I removed the damaged fl**ge, fabricated a new base from 1/2 inch steel plate, and welded it to the platform frame with six passes. I added a short 1 inch square-tube collar around the lower section of the rail to stiffen the connection. The handrail is rigid now and stays firmly aligned when climbing onto the platform. The final welds were left unpainted and fully visible.

The guide bracket around one of the ripper shanks on my bulldozer had worn thin and cracked along the lower edge. The shank was starting to move sideways instead of staying centered in the guide. I removed the damaged section, fabricated a new guide plate from 1/2 inch wear-resistant steel, and welded it into the ripper frame with seven passes. I added a second wear strip along the contact edge to handle repeated movement. After cycling the ripper up and down, the shank stayed centered with controlled clearance. The final welds were left unpainted and fully visible.

The inspection door on my excavator hydraulic tank enclosure had cracked around the lower hinge mount and was hanging unevenly. I removed the damaged hinge plate, fabricated a new mounting plate from 3/16 inch steel, and welded it to the enclosure with five passes. I added a small reinforcement strip behind the hinge area to spread the load across the panel. The door now opens smoothly, sits square when closed, and seals evenly around the enclosure. The final welds were left unpainted and fully visible.
