🌲✨ Join Us for a Special Moment at Scioto Trail State Park! ✨🌲
We’re excited to unveil a brand‑new Historical Marker honoring CCC Company 502, the first Civilian Conservation Corps unit established in Ohio back in 1933.
These hardworking young men helped shape Scioto Trail as we know it—building roads, fighting wildfires, reforesting the region, and even digging Caldwell Lake. Their camp, Camp Stoney Creek, became a hub of craftsmanship, education, and community, offering classes in metalworking, mechanics, woodworking, and more.
