My next book is based on a fun history story.

In Pony Patriot! the main character, Magnolia, is a horse who joins the Revolutionary War and has to save George Washington from being kidnapped.

The British did in fact, try to kidnap George Washington when he was Commander in Chief of the American Army. They did not succeed because a Regiment of soldiers on horses "were always with him" as reported in letters from the spies to the British Army leaders. I knew I had to expand on this fact in Pony Patriot! It's turning into an action packed and heartfelt storybook.

Onancock Farmer's Market has THE MOST DOGS out of any market I've ever attended.

We just had a wonderful tour of Neversink Farm here in Atlantic, Virginia. Over 80 acres with different purposes. Horse trails, agricultural farming, wildlife preservation for vulnerable species, and horses to visit -including one named Willow!
