Onancock Farmer's Market has THE MOST DOGS out of any market I've ever attended.
The musician even dedicated a song to someone's dog while they were shopping.

My next market will be at Chincoteague Farmer's Market this Saturday, November 29th.

We just had a wonderful tour of Neversink Farm here in Atlantic, Virginia. Over 80 acres with different purposes. Horse trails, agricultural farming, wildlife preservation for vulnerable species, and horses to visit -including one named Willow!
I hope to be back soon.

Asking for help can be scary and I wanted to write a children's book about it because I often struggle to ask for help.

You guys....I faced my fear of asking for help and asked Super Reader Man to do a read aloud of my book, Pony Rescue!
I cannot believe Super Reader Man read my book!

Pony Rescue! is about the CLG buy back named Apollo, who needs to be rescued by the Saltwater Cowboys, wildlife photographers, and other animals near Chincoteague. The biggest problem is...he hates asking for help!

Special thanks to all the real people I've been working with to be a somewhat successful children's book author and illustrator.

People argue that we should embrace all things Ai. If we don't use it, we'll be obsolete.

Here's my response:

💟 Ai can't meet people in person.
If I tell a customer that I made the book they're holding, not Ai, they have a chance to ask me more questions. "How long did it take you?"; "Our daughter loves to draw, too. What should we focus on teaching her to help her?"

💬 Ai is a useful tool, but it doesn't have a relatable backstory like you do that you can share to connect with your customers.

✏️ Drawing helps me notice details and discover what touches and inspires me. (Ai will never be able to do that)

💌 I enjoy making something that only I can make. I enjoy meeting people who care for others.

👢 We're in the wild west phase of Ai. Laws and best practices have not been passed yet. Just because you can "get away" with something doesn't mean you should throw away your integrity.

⭐️ When my work gets picked for musuem gift shops and indie bookstores... I feel more accomplished than if I had used Ai to generate all of my hard work.

🤟 Meeting humans in person, especially people you admire (like Santa), will never be obsolete.
