ACM: Awards for Producers/Studios/Musicians/Clubs/Venues

BREAKING NEWS:

Dann Huff, Bryan Sutton Among ACM Studio Award Winners.

The Academy of Country Music has announced its Studio Recording and Industry Award winners for the 61st ACM Awards, recognizing the musicians, producers, engineers and venues behind the year's country music.

On the studio side, Dann Huff won Producer of the Year — his sixth — and Justin Niebank claimed his 10th Audio Engineer of the Year designation. Bryan Sutton took Acoustic Guitar Player of the Year for his first win in the category, and Gordon Mote earned a fourth for Piano/Keyboards. Among Industry winners, Nashville's Ryman Auditorium took Theater of the Year for a third time, while The Pinnacle — host of this year's ceremony — won Club of the Year in its first nod. Cheyenne Frontier Days also notched a first win, for Fair/Rodeo of the Year.

Winners join previously announced Special Award recipients, including Bill Anderson, Eric Church and Kacey Musgraves, in collecting trophies at the 19th ACM Honors on Wednesday, August 19 at The Pinnacle in Nashville. Tickets are on sale now through AXS.
