𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡:
𝐀 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟑:𝟐𝟔-𝟐𝟗
(𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞) 📜✨🕊️

Have you ever noticed a difference in how we read Galatians 3:28? While most Greek-based translations use the word "Greek" or "Gentile," the Aramaic Pesh*tta uses the term "𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐚" (𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐞𝐚𝐧).

Let’s dive into the beauty of this passage and what it means for us today: 🌊🙌

📖 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 (𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟑:𝟐𝟔-𝟐𝟗):
"For you are all children of The Almighty by the faith of Yeshua The Messiah. For those who have been baptized into The Messiah have put on The Messiah. There is neither Jew nor 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐞𝐚𝐧, neither Servant nor Free person, neither male nor female, for all of you are one in Yeshua The Messiah. And if you are of The Messiah, you are therefore the seed of Abraham and heirs by The Promise."

🔍 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐜:

➊ 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐡: Verse 26 reminds us that our "sonship" or status as children of The Almighty isn't earned by lineage, but by the 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐘𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐮𝐚. We are wearing Him like a garment (v. 27). 🛡️

➋ 𝐉𝐞𝐰 𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐞𝐚𝐧 (𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐚): In the Aramaic context, "Aramaean" was often used to describe those from the surrounding nations or those who spoke the common language of the region but were not Judean. By saying there is neither "Jew nor Aramaean," the text emphasizes that the old ethnic and cultural barriers are completely dissolved. Whether you come from the covenant line of Judah or the "nations" (Aram), you are 𝐎𝐍𝐄 in Yeshua. 🤝

➌ 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭: The Aramaic underscores a total removal of hierarchy. In the ancient world, the distinctions between Servant/Free and Male/Female were rigid. In Yeshua, these social and physical distinctions do not determine your value or your access to The Almighty. ⚖️

➍ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐦: This is the "Grand Finale." If you belong to The Messiah, you are legally and spiritually the "Seed of Abraham." You don't need a physical pedigree to inherit the Promise—you have it through the King! 👑🍎

In a world that tries to divide us by ethnicity, status, and gender, the Aramaic Pesh*tta reminds us that our primary identity is found in Yeshua. We are one body, one family, and heirs to the same glorious promise. 🌍❤️

Passover Pesach Easter

Acts 12:3 …and they were the days of the Unleavened [Bread]— [That was a 7 day period, not just 1].

Bishops' Bible of 1568 = Easter

King James Version 1769 = Easter
American King Jame Version 1999 = Easter
Note that the Catholic versions read “pasch” or “Passover”.
Most Bibles these days read “Passover”.

I remember back in the 1990s and 2000s in the Networking World, of how controversial the term “Easter” is, and going back and forth, as if on a wobbling carousel, we were battling about it being in Acts 12:4 in the older English Bibles (not sure about the other languages). Especially with a user that called himself “Pastor Dave”. Even personal web site pages were dedicated to addressing the issue.

According to letters by the late Jerome, Polycarp, a late disciple of the Apostle John had went to Rome in 147 CE to plead with the “church” to NOT bring Ishtar (Easter) into “Christianity”. Polycarp was burned at the stake for his efforts. No good deed goes unpunished. 😢

Obviously, after all these Centuries, it’s virtually pointless being preachy about the reference to the pagan goddess “Ishtar”, when the Bibles/Scriptures uses the term “Easter” and doesn’t have negative connotation in the context of Acts Chapter 12 and other than the term being more or less, a “time-marker”.
　 Not only does the secular world use the term, but at least 55% of English Bible readers use the KJV 1769 Benjamin Blayney’s revision which is the prominent one used in GB and the Northern America continents. So those folks have a “rebuttal”, that the term “Easter” is in their Bible, so it must be legit. 🤷🏼‍♂

So while the damage has already long-ago been done, the majority of English translations that have sprung forth in the past few Centuries, have followed it as the 16th Century CE Geneva Bible translated the same underlying Greek word as it is in all the other places in The Apostolic Writings, into the English word, “Passover”. 👍🏻

And bunnies still don’t lay Eggs. 😉

Ḥodesh Tov Lekolḥem
(Happy New Month To You All!)

The Biblical Scriptural Hebrew New Month is here now and already in progress, so this is wishing you a great Month!

　”Iyar” (month of blossoming in Babylonian Aramaic), Scripture calls this month originally “Ziv” (splendor of flowers: 1 Kings 6:1, 37). Cp. 2 Chronicles 3:1-2.

　The Solar-Stellar Month Date of “Issachar” (one of the 12 Tribes) started on the evening of April 20, 2025, Sunday, and ends on May 22, 2025, Thursday Evening. The Levitical Season and Sign is “KOHEN”, 2nd Solar-Stellar Month.
　　Very few pay any regards to the Solar-Stellar Clock, but is noted here for those very few that do. They are included in the Eternal Torah Calendar for each day, which each Calendar Day-Cycle is evening to evening.

Three Different Calendars (Part 3):

The Hebrew Calendar, The Julian Calendar, and the Gregorian Calendar.

HAPPY RESURRECTION DAY!

On the Eternal Torah Calendar, as well as the Hebrew Rabbinic Calendar (which is more stabilized this year), “Resurrection Day” is Aḇiḇ 17th, (Part 2 of the Calendar Day-Cycle), and is on the Commonly used GC (Gregorian Calendar) at Tuesday Morning, April 15, 2025. Obviously, like Birthdays and some Holidays, this changes each year when they occur.

Now, the old Julian (Roman) Calendar, the Calendar Day-Cycle doesn’t start until 12:00 pm NOON, so the morning time (which is the last part of Monday) will be up to 11:59:59 AM, then Tuesday starts beyond that.

Anyone can commemorate the whole day Tuesday if anybody wishes.

A note for newbies: This does NOT represent a “continuous” timing of April 15 every year. Aḇiḇ 17 is of a Lunar-Solar Calendar, and the GC (as well as Julian) is a Solar Calendar, so Aḇiḇ 17 can happen on any Day Of the Week, and any Calendar DATE in the latter of the Months of March or April on the GC of each year.
