Presto Arrows is the second semester in Presto year one. Students continue to learn piano geography, the music staff, sight reading, complex rhythms, and they love learning to play some pretty groovy songs. Our focus in music history is on the Classical Era.

So proud of Jackson! Even though he wasn't my student, it is so awesome to see other Presto students from the Pocatello area shine!

Isn't it awesome that after two years of lessons, Presto students are composing their own songs?

Congratulations to Jackson Velasquez for taking SECOND PLACE for his original composition, "The Lost Crew" in the Presto composition contest.

Jackson just completed Presto with Lisa Darrow, and he got to come perform his composition at our national symposium a few weeks ago. He did a phenomenal job, and it was so fun to show off our local talent to all of the other Let's Play Music teachers. Way to go Jackson!

I had an amazing time at Symposium last weekend. I'm feeling recharged, refreshed, and ready to go for a new year of teaching this fall. I have some fun new ideas for the next year and how to better support my AMAZING students!

Did you know that your LPM/Presto teacher's have ongoing trainings? Michelle , Lisa, Misty and Cami all got to attend the annual Let's Play Music Symposium.

We have learned so much and can't wait to let our students PLAY this year in our classes!

I am offering private voice lessons this summer! I don't normally teach any private lessons at all, but I have had some requests, so I figured I would open up a few times! Send me a message to take advantage of my sweet summer discount if you purchase a package deal of five lessons!

Registration for the fall is OPEN! I have so many fun classes I'm offering, but I am especially excited about White Horses! Sound Beginnings is such a treasured class for me, because it was one of the first times I was able to bond with my own children through music. Music is such a special part of my life, and sharing it with my babies in Sound Beginnings will forever be some of my favorite core memories!

It's that time of year again! Registration for my Fall 2025 classes opens on Monday, March 3rd.

I have spent years researching methods to teach children music, and I firmly believe that these classes are the BEST ways to set your child up with a strong, musical foundation! Not only will your child learn quality music, but they will develop their musical ears, study music theory, engage in musical history, and immerse themselves in all the beautiful, diverse things that music has to offer!
