A doctor who confirmed a vaccine skeptic to run American health policy is now begging Trump to fix the healthcare crisis… right after getting primaried out of his own seat. 🗣️ Courage without consequence isn’t courage.

We need Republicans to act while they still have something to lose.

Today the House passed a war powers resolution to end the I ran war. 215-208, with 4 Republicans voting yes. It still has to clear the Senate. And Trump will likely veto it, le sigh.

But the House is now on record. The Senate is getting closer. This war has no strategy, no endgame, and no congressional authorization. Whoohoo.

Mullin testified today. And he couldn’t commit to following court orders. And he couldn’t explain his own training policy. But he CAN ask for $63 billion with a straight face.

Governor Mikie Sherrill called the conditions at Delaney Hall unconstitutional. Then she sent police to tear-gas the people demanding she do something about it. And blamed the protestors for the chaos.

~300 detainees are starving themselves to be heard.

Governor Sherrill, you are not the villain. But you are failing the moment. And we see you.

Detainees inside Delaney Hall have been on hunger strike for eight days.

Eight days of their bodies consuming themselves. Eight days of muscle breakdown and dropping electrolytes and deteriorating kidney function. Eight days of no one listening.

They are not doing this because they want to. They are doing this because refusing food is the only power they have left. Just their body and the hope that someone outside that fence is paying attention.

But we are paying attention.

“They deserve it” is not a legal standard and it’s definitely not a moral one either. But it is what they say when they’ve stopped seeing other human beings as human.

Trump ran on a mandate for mass deportations. And his supporters, many of them who claim to be Christian, cheered. And I have to ask: have we read the same Bible?

Because here's what that mandate is actually producing: For every six immigrants ICE removes from the workforce, one American worker loses their job. The jobs aren't being "freed up" for Americans. They're literally just ... gone.

And while that's happening, detainees are dying by su***de in ICE facilities at an all-time record pace. 10 su***des (part of over 51 total deaths) since January 2025. Historically, ICE recorded one, sometimes even zero, per year. Staff are ignoring their screams, ignoring their hallucinations, failing to get help to people who were begging for it.

At Delaney Hall in Newark, about 300 detainees are now on day six of a hunger and labor strike. They aren't striking for better conditions. 300 people are starving themselves just to be heard.

These are human beings made in the image of God, dying alone in detention cells while guards are purposefully looking the other way. While the prison companies who own the detention center are making billions.

So can we just stop with the border security rhetoric, because this isn't that, and you know it. And this isn't protecting American workers either. This is cruelty plain and simple. Institutionalized, taxpayer-funded cruelty, wrapped up in a flag and a cross and called a mandate.

"Whatever you did to the least of these, you did to me." — Matthew 25

A detention facility in New Jersey has become the latest site of clashes between ICE and protesters as detainees stage a hunger strike.
