WIP Wednesday: After not oil painting for roughly 15 years, I finally re-broke the seal. And I mean literally, because some of my oil paints are so old I couldn’t get the caps off! In these progress pics, you are mostly seeing the acrylic base however, as the skeleton is the only thing in oil for now. There will also be collage elements in the composition as well. Most of this will be covered by deep blueish black oil except what I allow to show through. Thanks for looking!

Inktober52 Week 16: Critter. I’m trying to focus on drawing original compositions this year as much as possible, so I avoided drawing one of the critters from the 80’s sci-fi horror series Critters. That being said, this is a drawing of someone’s haunting photo of a spooky looking raccoon. They are uncredited in the original source.
