We got a close look at the NVIDIA HGX Rubin NVL8 GPU board at Dell Tech World. Eight Rubin GPUs on a single carrier, NVLink 6 at up to 28.8 TB/s GPU-to-GPU, and up to 400 PFLOPS NVFP4. Worth remembering the host CPU is a choice on the NVL8, with AMD EPYC, Intel Xeon, and NVIDIA Vera all on the table. The 2U system is entirely liquid-cooled. Link in bio.

We went to Hopkinton for a hands-on look at Dell PowerStore Gen 3, the biggest reset to the platform since it launched in 2020. New 3U chassis, 40 E3.S NVMe bays with no slots burned on cache, 200GbE RDMA midplane, DDR5, end-to-end PCIe Gen5, and a CPU-agnostic fabric built for a ten-year life.
