This month, I’m spotlighting Opius Distillery!
distillery , based out of Belgium has created some incredible non-alcoholic spirits that you truly must try.. There 4 spirits ( Amaro, Negredo, Albedo & Rubedo) are layered, bitter, botanical, and structured enough to build balanced zero-proof cocktails.. Their products lean heavily into texture, aromatics, and complexity, making them useful behind the bar for stirred drinks, spritzes, and spirit-forward alcohol-free cocktails.

I LOVEMY COFFEE!! One of my favorite things to drink in the afternoon is
Espresso Tonics but I can’t always get to my favorite local cofffee shops.

So I mixed 2 of my favorites together,
& with a new tonic I’ve been enjoying to create a refreshing Espresso Tonics I can enjoy anytime at home.

What was the highlight of your sober weekend?

It’s National Sober Day !! No better way to celebrate it than with my beautiful wife, Noelle. It was sobriety that brought us together.

We met on a dating app( Shout out to ) & she almost swiped left.

When she saw my profile, the first picture was me in front of my bar at work. It was the best picture I had of myself. My job profession, was bartender. She thought no way this will work. Thankfully, she kept scrolling down. I had listed that my greatest accomplishment was that I had just reached 4 years of sobriety.

We had our first date on Sept. 16, 2022.
We got married on Sept. 16, 2023.
We now have a beautiful daughter & a son on the way.
None would be possible without both of us making a choice.
We chose a life of sobriety.
We chose to learn how to love ourselves.
Now now we can love our family, together.

Whether you are at day 1 or have years under your belt.
