Monthly Veterans Dinner Meetup
Thursday, June 11th at 6 PM
Roosters Brewing Co. (Event Space), Layton, Utah. 748 Heritage Park Blvd #101, Layton, UT 84041

This gathering is all about connection, camaraderie, and support among fellow veterans. Spouses, partners, and friends are welcome.

Friendly Reminder: Meals are self‑paid. If cost is a concern, please don’t let that stop you from joining us—just let us know privately and we’ll make sure you’re covered. Meal assistance is reserved for veterans.

If you have helpful resources for fellow veterans, feel free to bring them. Casual sharing is always welcome. If you have business cards or promotional materials, please place them on the designated table so guests can explore them at their own pace.

We’ve successfully hosted another first event to be proud of. The Aloha Block Party had a great turnout, and we are grateful for everyone who helped make it possible.

This is the only photo I have on my phone from the event, a photo with a few of our amazing volunteers. The more events we host, the more I realize taking photos is usually the last thing on my mind. If you took photos at the event, please tag us. We would love to see them.

A special thank you to all of our volunteers and leadership team for their hard work and support. Thank you to for providing the venue and being such great partners, and thank you to for always being awesome.

Thank you to all the food trucks and vendors who participated, for the music, Malialole for the entertainment, for the photo booth, our cameraman, and everyone who contributed to making the evening a success.

Our foundation runs because of the amazing partners and community behind us. Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out to support, connect, and enjoy the event. We appreciate you all.

Please join us in welcoming Kassidee Foster as our new Volunteer Coordinator at the .

We are grateful to have Kassidee join our team. She currently works at the University of Utah Diabetes Center and dedicates much of her time to serving the veteran community. Kassidee brings valuable experience working with volunteers and has previously served in various roles with The Major Brent Taylor Foundation, where she developed a strong passion for ensuring veterans and their families feel seen, heard, and respected.

When she is not working or volunteering, Kassidee enjoys spending time with her son, visiting local farmers markets, attending concerts, and cheering at sporting events.

Her commitment to service and genuine care for others make her a wonderful addition to our organization. We look forward to the impact she will make as we continue serving veterans and their families together.

This year’s event will feature Polynesian food trucks, a photobooth, raffle giveaways, a DJ, and great music to keep the energy high all evening.

The Aloha Block Party is happening this Friday, June 5, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Aloha Golf and Coffee Lounge in Layton, Utah. This celebration is more than a good time. It also serves as a fundraiser that helps provide scholarships for veterans and their families, supporting education, opportunity, and community impact.
