Some forces in the world do not act in humanity’s best interest. History fades with every new generation, and too many lessons are lost. Awareness starts with curiosity and a willingness to look deeper.

Researching past atrocities gives context for the present. Understanding genocide helps prevent future harm and strengthens our moral compass. Knowledge is protection, and remembering is responsibility.

Children must learn why their nation needs defending, and what threats can destroy freedom. When they understand the reality of aggression, they see why peace matters. A society that wants lasting peace must raise generations committed to that goal.

Looking 300 years ahead, each generation needs a purpose that moves progress forward. The space race proved how constructive missions can unite people after conflict. If we choose war, the future collapses. If we choose creation, the future survives.

Missionary and charity work help young people grow with intention. They teach resilience, compassion, and real world awareness. They turn service into a pathway toward maturity.

These experiences also build language skills and strong habits. Missions and kibbutz programs show the value of teamwork and responsibility. They shape character through meaningful contribution.

Apprenticeships give students real world clarity early on. They help young people understand what path actually fits. They turn guessing into informed decisions.

This experience also teaches them how to contribute and create value. It builds confidence through work, not theory. It sets a stronger foundation for long term goals. That's why I'm a big proponent of apprenticehsips.

Too many of our young people are struggling—not because they lack talent, but because they lack structure, purpose, and pride.

I’m not saying we should send them to fight in wars across the globe. I’m saying we should consider what many other countries have done: introduce shared service that builds character, not combat readiness.

Military training can teach discipline. It can foster respect for the land we live in. It can help a young person understand sacrifice, take responsibility, and develop a deep pride in their country—things that are disappearing fast in today’s culture.

This kind of service isn’t about violence. It’s about contribution. In a time when entitlement is rising and gratitude is vanishing, we need to rethink what it means to serve.

If we want a stronger, more capable generation—we have to give them something worth being strong for.
