GOOD MORNING MY FRIENDS 🌞

His Mercies Are New This Morning

“Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for His mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!” — Lamentations 3:22–23 📖

Every morning is a reminder of God’s faithfulness.

Yesterday may have contained mistakes, disappointments, unanswered prayers, or moments when you fell short. Yet God does not greet you with condemnation. He greets you with mercy.

The prophet Jeremiah wrote these words during one of the darkest seasons in Israel’s history. Even in the middle of suffering, he recognized an unchanging truth: God’s mercy never runs out.

When you open your eyes today, you are not living on yesterday’s grace. God has already prepared fresh mercy for this day.

Fresh mercy for your worries.
Fresh mercy for your weaknesses.
Fresh mercy for the decisions you must make. Fresh mercy for the challenges you may face.

You do not have to carry yesterday’s burdens into today. The Lord invites you to walk forward trusting that He is already present in every moment ahead of you.

Before the demands of the day begin, pause and remember:

🙌🏻 God is faithful.
🫂 God is with you.
🕊️ God will provide what you need for today.
🙏🏻 God is still working, even when you cannot see it.

The same God who sustained you yesterday will sustain you today.

Reflection Questions

1. What burden from yesterday do I need to release to God today?
2. Where do I need to trust God’s faithfulness right now?
3. How can I intentionally walk in gratitude this morning?

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of a new day. Thank You that Your mercies are new every morning and that Your faithfulness never fails. Help me to release yesterday’s worries and trust You with today. Guide my thoughts, words, and actions so that they honor You. Strengthen me where I am weak, give me wisdom where I need direction, and fill my heart with peace as I walk with You.

May I reflect Your love and grace to everyone I encounter today.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

🚶🏼‍♀️Today I will walk in God’s grace, trust in His faithfulness, and rest in the knowledge that His mercies are new every morning. 🌿

When Friendships Challenge Your Faith

Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15:33:

“Do not be misled: ‘Bad company corrupts good character.’”

This verse is not a command to avoid everyone who struggles with sin. If that were the case, none of us would have friends at all.

Instead, Paul is reminding believers that relationships have influence. The people closest to us shape our thinking, our choices, our priorities, and often our spiritual walk.

As Christians, our primary responsibility is to protect:

1. Our relationship with Christ.
2. Our marriage and family.
3. Our integrity.

Those responsibilities must come before any friendship.

Sometimes the most loving thing we can do is pray for someone while creating healthy boundaries.

Sometimes faithfulness to God means recognizing that a relationship is pulling us away from biblical truth rather than toward it.

Not every friendship survives those priorities.

That doesn’t mean we hate people. That doesn’t mean we refuse to forgive. That doesn’t mean we stop praying for them.

It simply means our loyalty to Christ must remain greater than our loyalty to any relationship.

A friendship that requires us to compromise our convictions is asking us to pay too high a price.

May we have the wisdom to love people well while remaining faithful to God.

Good morning 🌞

Comparison steals joy quickly.
Your journey with God does not have to look like someone else’s.

Focus on obedience, not competition. God is writing a unique testimony through your life.

God’s grace is not reserved only for your strongest moments.
His grace meets you in weakness too. You do not have to pretend to have it all together this morning.

God already knows your heart.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

Not every battle needs your reaction.

Some things are better surrendered to God than carried emotionally all day. Protect your peace today.

You may feel tired, but do not give up.

Growth is often happening beneath the surface before anything becomes visible.

God is still working in places you cannot yet see.

Stay rooted, stay prayerful, stay faithful.

“Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.” — Galatians 6:9

A quick note before today’s study.

As I was preparing the next few days of our Sermon on the Mount series, I realized I got a little ahead of myself in the posting schedule and skipped over a couple of Beatitudes that I don’t want us to miss.

So before we continue, we’re going to spend a few days focusing on Matthew 5:9–12 and the beautiful truths Jesus teaches about peacemaking and faithfulness.

Thank you for extending grace as I continue to grow and improve these resources. And as always, thank you for studying God’s Word with me.

🪞REFLECTION DEVOTIONAL

Where do you feel pressure to compromise your faith?

👉🏻Maybe:

✨ at work
✨ online
✨ around certain people
✨ in difficult relationships

Ask yourself:

🤔 Am I influencing my environment? 😊

🤔 Or is my environment influencing me? 🙅🏼‍♀️

You do not have to be loud to be effective. Consistency matters. Faithfulness matters.

WEEK TWO — OUTWARD FAITH

DAY 7 — SALT OF THE EARTH

Matthew 5:13

“You are the salt of the earth.”

TEACHING DEVOTIONAL

Jesus says:

“You are the salt of the earth.”

Notice He does not say “try to become salt.” He says you already are. This means your faith is meant to influence the world around you.

Salt:

🧂preserves
🧂adds flavor
🧂prevents decay
🧂changes what it touches

As believers, we are called to live differently:

💖 speaking truth with love
🕊️ remaining faithful in difficult environments
🙏🏻 bringing peace into chaos
🪞 reflecting Christ consistently

But Jesus also warns about salt losing its saltiness. When believers compromise truth to fit into culture, they lose spiritual influence.

👉🏻👉🏻God never called His people to blend in. He called them to stand faithfully. ✝️
