I'm not saying don't make flips of tracks, do that to keep momentum but also continue to work on original tunes inbetween! The reason I warn against distributing unofficial remixes you don't have permission for is; they can be forcibly removed and then if it was your most played song now you've lost a good chunk or all of your foundation of listeners. Another reason is artists often don't appreciate their work being taken without their permission to build up your audience. Flips are a chance to engage with fans on a taste level and ensure the tune will be easier to listen to because they've probably already heard it. It gives a chance for you to surprise them with your twist on what they expected to hear. That's all for now 👋

I think what many people don't understand about managing a project is that it's a lot of checking emails, and socials constantly. I can't tell you how many times I miss important emails or messages despite checking frequently. It's a balancing act truly. The DJing side, producing, the artist, the social media manager, the planner. If you don't do it your project simply won't grow because other people are doing it 🧠
