The most powerful moments aren’t always the loudest…

They’re the most surrendered.

Sunday morning, we’re not chasing a perfect set—we’re pursuing His presence.

Let’s worship with honesty.

What if worship was never meant to be a moment… but a way of life?

In a culture where worship can easily become routine or performance-driven, Jesus reminds us of something deeper:

👉 The Father is seeking true worshippers.

Not the most talented.
Not the most visible.
But those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth.

In this powerful new blog from Worship Pastor Todd Sturgell, “3 Ways to Become a True Worshipper,” we explore what it really means to live a life of worship:

✨ Worship with AWE – seeing God for who He truly is

🔥 Worship with ABANDONMENT – fully engaging, not just observing

🙌 Worship with your LIFE – where your actions reflect your devotion

This isn’t about what happens on a stage.
It’s about what sits on the throne of your heart.

📖 “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” – Matthew 6:21

Consistency in worship ministry isn’t about talent. It’s about structure.

When systems are strong, teams are confident.
When teams are confident, people engage.
And when people engage, space is created for God to move.

Are you building a ministry that’s consistent every week—or just on big days?
Dive into this from Worship Pastor Steven T. Allen https://www.globalworshipinitiative.org/blog/consistency-is-key

What if worship is more than what we sing—but how we minister to the hearts in the room?

In this episode of the SpiritSound Music Podcast Part II, we’re joined by Dr. Daniel Walker, Jonathan Sawyer, and Steven T. Allen for a powerful conversation on music ministry, mental health, and the importance of intentional worship leadership.

This episode is a meaningful reminder that worship is not a performance—it’s a spiritual and therapeutic tool that God uses to meet people right where they are.

Together, we explore:
✨ Choosing songs with intention—not just popularity, but purpose
✨ The choir as a “church within a church,” creating belonging and unity
✨ How worship can bring healing to those facing real-life struggles
✨ Guarding against comparison and leading for an audience of One
✨ Building a spiritual foundation in the next generation through music

In a world where so many are quietly carrying heavy burdens, worship has the power to speak truth, bring comfort, and create space for the Holy Spirit to move.

If you’re a worship leader, musician, or ministry servant, this conversation will both challenge and encourage you to lead with greater purpose and sensitivity.

🎧 Listen now and be reminded: what you lead each week has the power to impact lives far beyond the moment. https://youtu.be/NubY-ykdQDc?si=H9z-X5lM6IAweyMW

Sometimes we just need the reminder—your mental health matters. 🤍

In this episode of the SpiritSound Music Podcast, we’re joined by Dr. Daniel Walker, Jonathan Sawyer, and Steven T. Allen for an honest conversation about mental health in the church and music ministry.

Ministry can be beautiful—but it can also be heavy. This episode encourages us to:
✨ Break the stigma
✨ Lead with vulnerability
✨ Set healthy boundaries
✨ Rest, reset, and prioritize what matters most

You don’t have to carry it all alone—and seeking help is a step toward wholeness.

🎧 Tune in and be encouraged to lead from overflow, not exhaustion. https://youtu.be/E5lHt1RvmIM?si=tczyEf7W5z1ay_Z0

Join us as we dive deep into powerful conversations on music, faith, and the heart of worship.

Easter is one of the most important opportunities we have all year as church leaders. ✝️

More guests will walk through our doors than any other weekend—friends invited by coworkers, family members who haven’t attended in years, and people quietly wondering if they still belong. That’s why planning Easter well matters.

🗞 In this Blog, Pastor Todd Sturgell share 5 practical strategies to help create a meaningful Easter experience—from capturing attention in the first moments of the service to sharing stories of life change and ending with the hope of the resurrection.

The goal isn’t a bigger production.

The goal is a clear, compelling presentation of the gospel.

If you’re praying, dreaming, and planning for Easter right now, I hope this helps you and your team create a service where people truly encounter Jesus.

Friday looked like failure.

Crowds left.
Silence fell.
Hope felt buried.

But the cross wasn’t the end.

Worship pastors —
Don’t judge your calling in a crucifixion season.

💬 What’s sustained you in hard ministry moments?
