Let’s Talk About Mania
This isn’t about being “too happy” or “just having energy.”
This is about racing thoughts you can’t slow down.
Sleeping 2 hours and waking up ready to start a business, write a book, or “save the world.”
It’s grand ideas, fast talk, constant motion—and sometimes, no one can keep up, not even you.

Sometimes it feels spiritual. Sometimes it feels productive.
But eventually… it crashes.
And in the aftermath? Confusion. Regret. Exhaustion.
Maybe even shame.

If you’ve ever felt like your mood is too high or your thoughts are too fast,
You’re not crazy. You’re not weak. You might be experiencing mania.

Mania is a real mental health condition—part of bipolar disorder—and it can be treated.
You don’t have to suffer in silence or call it “just a phase.”

You are worthy of clarity, peace, and healing.

In the middle of a perceived crisis—no matter how small it might seem to you—someone else may be experiencing it as the biggest thing in the world.

The best thing you can do?
Listen.
Then gently ask, “How can I help?”

That one question can remind someone that they’re not alone.

One of the scariest parts of crisis is the feeling that no one understands and no one cares. It can feel like you're stuck on an island. Be the person who reminds them they aren’t.

Then offer comfort, presence, or even a practical solution. Sometimes just showing up is everything.

And if you’re the one feeling all the feelings today, please remember this:
Feelings are real—but they are not always truth.
Just because you *feel* alone doesn’t mean you are.
Just because you *feel* unloved doesn’t make it true.

When life is doing the absolute most—pause.
Close your eyes.
Take a few deep breaths.
Let those breaths remind you: you are still here. You are still in control of something. There is still more ahead.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
Please don’t ignore those who are suffering.
And *please* don’t ignore your own.

Take time.
Take space.
Take care.
You matter.
