Story behind this photo: Pratik Joshi, a software engineer living in London for six years, was finally bringing his wife Dr. Komi Vyas and their three children to join him for a new life abroad. Just two days ago, she resigned from her job in India. This morning they boarded Air India Flight 171, full of hope. They clicked a selfie before takeoff and sent it to loved ones. But they never made it. The plane crashed. None survived. In seconds, a lifetime of dreams was lost a painful reminder of how fragile life truly is. अमेरिकामा एकै परिवारका ४ जना नेपाली मृत फेला

अमेरिकामा चार जना नेपाली मृत अवस्थामा फेला परेका छन् । भर्जिनियाको मानेसास पार्कस्थित एक घरमा दुई बालबालिका, एक महिला र एक पुरुष मृत अवस्थामा फेला परेका हुन्।

उनीहरू सबैको गोली लागेर मृत्यु भएको देखिएको र प्रहरीले यस घटनालाई हत्यापछि आत्महत्या भएको आशङ्कामा अनुसन्धान गरिरहेको छ। मानेसास पार्क प्रहरीका अनुसार जुन ५ को राति १०:४० बजे प्रहरी टोलीलाई लाने लेनको ९४०० ब्लकमा रहेको एक घरमा जाँचका लागि बोलाइएको थियो।

घरधनीले आफ्ना भाडामा बस्ने व्यक्तिहरूसँग सम्पर्क हुन नसकेपछि प्रहरीलाई खबर गरेका थिए। प्रहरीहरू तलको अपार्टमेन्टमा प्रवेश गर्दा चार जनाको शव फेला परेको थियो । मृतकमा ३८ वर्षीय सन्तोष परियार, ३६ वर्षीया अञ्जु श्रेष्ठ, २ वर्षे बालक, र ८ वर्षीया बालिका रहेको प्रहरीले जानकारी दिएको छ ।

घटनास्थलमा एक थान बन्दुक पनि फेला परेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ। सबै शवहरूलाई मानेसासस्थित मेडिकल एक्जामिनरको कार्यालयमा लगिएको छ।

प्रहरीले यस घटनालाई घरभित्रै सीमित रहको पारिवारिक हत्याको रूपमा लिएको छ र बाहिरी व्यक्तिको संलग्नता नदेखिएको जिकिर गरेको छ। तर, गोली चलाउने व्यक्तिको परिचय भने सार्वजनिक गरिएको छैन।

एनबीसी वासिङ्टन (न्यूज ४) सँग कुरा गर्दा छिमेकीहरूले मृतकहरू करिब ६ महिना अघि सो बस्तीमा बसाइँ सरेका थिए। मानेसास पार्क उत्तर भर्जिनियामा रहेको एउटा सहर हो, जुन वासिङ्टन डीसीबाट करिब ३० माइल दक्षिण–पश्चिममा, प्रिन्स विलियम काउन्टीको बिचमा पर्छ।
