Seems like we’re still normalizing that “It’s okay not to be okay” I mean we’re human. We go through things. We feel the emotions and for those of us who know how we process them. Stop assuming because I haven’t reached out in awhile I’m a bad friend or that I don’t care. Maybe I’m just taking time away to process my emotions about something and I owe that self care to myself but to you I do not owe anything including an explanation! So please let people “Not be okay” in peace. Don’t reach out unless they reach out first. Stop making them feel like it’s not okay for them to take time to not be okay and to process it all internally.
