Little over a month until The Triple Crown, the first large scale tournament out at Savage Society Axe throwing - Amherst, Cleveland ! We will be Livestreaming all 3 days!

Hello and well met Axe Fam! Let's talk qualifying throws for WATC.

When: October 1st from 6p-10p (Can show as early at 5 to practice before throws). Slots on the half-hour.
Where: Savage Society Axe throwing - Amherst, Cleveland
How Much: 40$ (Information below)

We will be onsite to produce your qualifying throws for WATL as well as your own personal library, because who doesn't want to see how they've progressed over their career.

Let's talk about what this all entails:
- 1 Hour of throwing including your qualifying throws
- Full, WATL compliant, recording of all your throws
- WATL certified judge
- Uploading and email of throws to WATL so you don't have to do anything.
- An e-mail containing your throws for your personal use

If you wish to throw Big Axe and/or Duals, we can work that out as well.

This is a first come first served basis for this first night. As we said, slots are every half-hour so we can have a max of 8 people for this first day. If we fill up, we will work on getting more days ASAP!

Good evening everyone! Wanted to let the axe fam in and around the Northeast Ohio area, we will be working with Savage Society Axe throwing - Amherst, Cleveland to film and upload qualifying throws!

We will do all the filming, get every angle WATL wants, have full audio so the judges can be clearly heard, and we will upload and send the footage to WATL on your behalf.

If you are a venue around mid to northern Ohio and are looking to have someone come and help produce your throwers qualifiers, please message us and we'll see how to make it happen!

LADIES, GENTLEMEN, AXE THROWERS OF ALL AGES, & EVERYONE READING THIS, THE TIME HAS COME!

We are finally ready to show off our pilot episode of Axe Throwers Anonmyous! We're partnered with our family at Savage Society Axe throwing - Cleveland, Amherst to bring you a new series where we're going around to axe throwing venues to interview the owners, their up-and-coming throwers, as well as the pros that represent those venues.

I am looking to you, Axe Fam and friends, to give us some constructive feedback on our first episode. We already have plans to make some changes to cameras, graphics, and format of the show. In a few weeks we'll all sit back down, go over your feedback and see what updates we want to make going into the rest of the season.

Welp, today's the day! In a few hours we kick off the Helping the Heart of Texas Tournament out at Savage Society Axe throwing - Cleveland, Amherst!

Whether you're a member of the Axe Family or not, we encourage you to either come out and check out this awesome community that you can become a part of or watch our livestream to see what we're all about.

Our friend Dean Cooper is having issues and needs some help with paying some upcoming medical bills. With so many people meeting this awesome dude, the choice was made to throw a charity tournament in his honor. All proceeds form tickets and raffles are going directly to Dean, no parties involved in throwing the event are keeping anything.

In December 2020, Dean was rushed to the ER unable to breathe due to fluid build-up in his lungs. He was told by doctors that a heart attack was imminent had he not come to the hospital when he did. After a week in the hospital, his condition stabilized and he began taking medication.

In February 2021, Dean was diagnosed with combined systolic and diastolic (congestive) heart failure. Fluid in his lungs continues to cause breathing problems. He has severe left ventricular dysfunction and a severely increased left atrial diameter.
Within the next few weeks, Dean will have surgery to implant a dual chambered ICD in his chest to ‘zap’ him when his heart fails to pump properly and to slow and pace his heart rate when it gets out of sync.

Dean’s future plans are uncertain due to ongoing care and recovery after this procedure. He is in cardiac rehabilitation three times per week and is currently unable to work at all due to an increased chance of heart attack and constant rehab. He will also have to wait for the doctor to clear him at a level where he can work and then figure out what type of work he can safely do.

All this to say, Dean and Steph are struggling financially with these countless medical procedures, ongoing rehabilitation and medication, and Dean’s inability to work currently.

Dean has been a strong member of this community and has visited and supported Axe houses all over the Country. We wanted to show how much we all love Dean and how strong this community really is by throwing a fundraising tournament where 100% of proceeds will go to Dean to help him through this trying time.
