About 2 and a half years ago, my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She has been putting up one hell of a fight, but we just tecently had to move her to hospice. I am not quite sure how much time she has left, so we going to be taking a least a few weeks off from posting episodes. It might extend through the holidays, as everyone gets really busy then anyway. We will be back to finish off the series! Thank you all for your continued support.

Potterheads Turned Podcasters

A little over two years ago, Keighty and Ellen were brought together by a mutual friend for a Harry Potter Trivia Night at the SideQuest in Lakewood. Their team, So hot want to touch Hermione, awoooooo, ending up winning trivia that night, forging a new friendship between the two women. Two years, four more trivia nights, and four more wins (under the team names Hit It and Quidditch and Deez Knuts), Keighty and Ellen decided it was time to take their obsession to the next level. Ellen had started listening to another Harry Potter Podcast, Swish and Flick, and got Keighty into it as well. This led to many Harry Potter discussions over Facebook messenger. One weekend, when Ellen’s husband was out of town, she headed over to Keighty’s house for a Harry Potter marathon weekend, where they ended up spending more time talking about Harry Potter than actually watching it. This is the moment the idea to start their own podcast was born. By then end of the weekend (and thanks to Ellen’s husband who has a knack for naming things) the podcast had a name: Just Keep Rowling. Keighty initially thought they would forget about it, but after a month of planning, designing, and creating social media sites, the two sat down to record their first couple of episodes. They will release a new episode each week, chapter by chapter comparing the books to the films. Thank you for joining them on this adventure. Just Keep Rowling!
