Next weekend is BIG in Cleveland with the opening of ! And I’m happy to announce that I’ll be a featured artist at the Tower City Superman Movie Party on 7/12 from 12-6. I’ll have a VERY LIMITED Superman print for sale as well as Support Human Art stickers hot off the presses. I’ll also be doing a LIVE graphic recording of the event - maybe two! We shall see. After sleeping on it overnight, I decided I’m going to battle for human created art over Gen Ai created artwork. And I want you to join me:

For over 15 years, I’ve been creating original, hand drawn digital avatars for people around the world. With the advent of Generative AI, original, human made art is in peril. With the rapid adoption of this new technology, what can artists and designers do? What can we do to stand up for humans?

Enter Flipfaces. Each Flipface is an avatar that is hand drawn by me and will come with a message stating that it was created by a human. Use it on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or wherever you choose to use your avatar.

When you order your Flipface, you’ll get the original digital file plus a separate file that says you support human art.

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to draw Spyke from Munchkin for . I don’t know if I’ll get the chance to draw him again, so I decided to draw him tonight just for fun. Apologies to for my weak take on his design. I don’t know why I gave him such a large nose. I think it made him look funnier. Hope I get to draw this guy and his companion, Flower, again one day.

I’m pretty excited for next week. I don’t get the Snyderverse hate. Let me rephrase that: I get why they are pre-hating the new movie, but I think it has less to do with the movie and more with their personal sadness and pain inside. Anyway, I’m reading I Hate Fairyland and I’m totally digging it. Wanted to do an SY inspired Superman. Enjoy! Except if your are a Snyder-lover in which case maybe touch grass?

My latest art for (and probably my favorite thus far) for a stinker called “Karate Tiger 2”. This film is shocking in some parts. In the uncut version, an actual snake is cut open, drained of its blood and one of the characters drinks the blood - all in one take! I’m not sure that made the Rifftrax cut, but it was pretty gross. Go watch it!
