Dawn and Rich discuss their downloads for the week and, even though Pastor Charles couldn’t be with us for the recording, he shows up in ways that only our Heavenly Father could divine! Last night my car was broken into. The passenger glass was busted and everything inside had been tossed around and rifled through. I feel violated and frustrated. I've used more 4-letter words than I'm proud of.

Once I calmed down, this verse in Matthew 6 came to mind--

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven…

What happened makes me livid. But the thief can’t steal my peace. They can’t take my joy. They can’t touch the treasures I have in Christ.

So my prayer for today is for protection, for peace and even for the one who broke in.

May God reach their heart and they, too, know where true treasure is found.
