Hollyoaks' Frankie Osborne will make a tense accusation on New Year's Eve as part of her stalker plot, but she turns out to be wrong. Viewers know who has been sending Frankie threatening messages after the true identity of her stalker was revealed earlier this month.
Frankie strongly suspects that her dodgy police officer ex-boyfriend Sully is behind the death of her brother, who was attacked and killed in prison after Frankie opened up to Sully about the abuse.

Following JJ's death Frankie began receiving threatening text messages and confronted Sully, who denied tormenting her and stealing JJ's ashes.

The couple made up and Frankie praised Sully for protecting her by having JJ killed, though Sully didn't admit to anything. Frankie was later seen meeting with detective Dodger, where it was revealed that she was wearing a wire and working with Dodger to expose the crime.

While Frankie still thinks that Sully is her tormenter, the soap confirmed that Dee Dee Hutchinson was the person behind the messages after it was revealed that she had been speaking to Frankie's abusive brother in prison, with the Hutchinson family finding out the truth on Christmas Day.

In scenes set to air next week (but set on New Year’s Eve), the Hutchinson kids sneak into The Loft because they don't want to stay in on New Year.

Diane is furious to find that her children have sneaked out without permission and Darren offers to go with her to find them.

At The Loft and wanting to fully get in the swing of New Year’s Eve celebrations, Ant comes up with an idea on how they can get their hands on some booze with help from Dee Dee.

When Vicky tells Frankie she wants her to put her worries aside to ring in the new year, Sully walks into the club, filling Frankie with fear.

Not wanting to be scared anymore, Frankie accuses Sully of sending the messages so he could act the hero and win her affection, but Sully continues to deny it. Will Frankie get to the truth?

These scenes will air on Tuesday, 6 January and Wednesday, 7 January.

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.

Hollyoaks’ Tony and Diane Hutchinson are determined to have the best Christmas ever, but their children turn the big day into a complete nightmare! With huge secrets revealed, will the family be torn apart again?
"With Tony narrowly avoiding death earlier this year, Diane is thankful that he’s still here and wants to make this festive season perfect," teases our insider. "But teens Dee Dee and Ant put a spanner in the works and create utter carnage in the Hutchinson household…"

Tony has had a very difficult couple of months, having been shot and left for dead on his wedding day – with the culprit later revealed to be Mercedes. Diane and Gemma secretly know the truth and are working together to ruin Mercedes’ life and cruelly getting her addicted to anxiety pills.

Meanwhile, Tony’s health took a turn for the worse when he suffered a stroke in hospital. He has now been allowed to return home but is currently dependent on his loved ones for most daily tasks.

Grateful Diane is pulling out all the stops for the Hutchinsons, but as Christmas kicks off, things are anything but harmonious. Dee Dee secretly hides a gift from everyone else, while troubled Ant continues to act out and cause tension between the family.

Ant is forced to join in with the festivities and help out with the family dinner, but while setting the table, he finds a burner phone. Intrigued by his unexpected discovery, he secretly pockets the mysterious device.

Later, little Eva is excited to open her presents, so takes a peek at one of the gifts under the tree – and Dee Dee is horrified! When this unexpected Christmas present is unwrapped, the family is left reeling by a hidden truth.

As a revelation comes to the surface, Ant responds very badly, storming into the pub and spoiling Jack and Pearl’s romantic moment. But as his anger boils over again, he drops a bombshell of his own that leads to even more questions.

What secrets will be exposed, and what does this mean for the Hutchinson clan going forward?

Hollyoaks star reveals she’s pregnant with second baby as she shares sweet snap of her bump
Fellow soap stars were quick to wish the actress and her husband well as they expand their little family

TAKING to Instagram just days before Christmas, a Hollyoaks star has revealed that she’s expecting her second baby.

Jessamy Stoddart took to Instagram this week to share a sweet snap of her bump and to reveal that she and husband Ryan O’Gorman will soon welcome another baby into their family.

The Hollyoaks star, 32, who is best-known for playing Liberty Savage in the soap, revealed the news on Instagram by writing: “So incredibly lucky to be growing a little brother or sister for Joni.”

Sharing snaps to accompany the caption, Jessamy uploaded a snap of a bauble on a Christmas tree which was engraved with: “Baby O’Gorman. Due May 2026.”

The bauble included a heartshaped cut-out with the scan photo peeking through.

The next slide she uploaded was of a mirror selfie where she could be seen taking a photo with one hand on her bare baby bump which was seen beneath her black long-sleeve top

Friends, fellow soap stars and many fans flocked to the comments section to swoon over the happy news.

Nikki Sanderson commented: “Amazing news!!!! So happy for you all.”

Kimberly Hart-Simpson wrote: “Ahhh this is great news!!! Big love to you all.”

Carrie Hope Fletcher penned: “EEEEEE!!!! Congratulations gorgeous!!!!”

Lucy Fallon added: “Congratulations.”

Meanwhile, several fans took to the comments to share sweet messages too.

One person penned: “Oh lovely. Congratulations hun ….there’s something in Hollyoaks water I’m sure.”

“This is the most gorgeous news. Huge congratulations to you, Ryan and Joni,” wrote a second.

A third then said: “This makes me soooooo happy for you all!! Huge Congratulations with all my love x.”

Jessamy got wed to her husband Ryan in 2021, and in 2022 she revealed she would be expecting her first child.

In January 2023, Jessamy revealed she had given birth to the couple’s first child, baby Joni.

Sharing a snap of her sleeping baby at the time, the soap starlet penned: “Our little girl. Joni Drew O’Gorman 04/01/2023 8lb4

“After every storm comes a rainbow and this rainbow came on the anniversary of of us first finding out we were pregnant.

Jessica Fox: And with Hollyoaks, it’s the baby soap – with that comes the enthusiasm of youth. We are doing things first – we still do ground-breaking things and we’re leading the digital era. You’ve got to grab people’s attention in the first three seconds and keep hold of it – with social media that has to be the way we do things.
Beyond the anniversary, will Darren be able to forgive Nancy for Tony – and has he lost his best friend forever in Tony?



Ashley: Well I don’t know, it’s a sore point for me. [laughs]. Darren is the contradiction of all contradictions. There’s been so many times [he’s done things badly] but the thing is: Nancy has always been this perfect partner.



She never really did anything wrong and it’s always Darren that had to apologise so I do think it’s nice to show the flaws in that and in the relationship – things like this might go wrong and it’s something they will have to remember. But Nancy and Darren are inseparable – and that’s the beauty of it.



They try to do the right thing for each other… eventually! I mean, it’s hilarious how quickly people forgive and forget in our show but that’s the beauty of it.



How do you resonate with your characters?



Jessica: Along the way I think they begin to write parts of you [into the character] – though I hope not too much, Nancy can be pretty insufferable at times! But, with the humour you get from Nancy now, I hope that comes from me. Because she wasn’t that funny to begin with. I’m not as angry as she is – thank god – and I don’t lose my temper as much either. But I’m definitely as organised as she is.



Ashley: If you put your heart and soul into it – there are definitely massive parts of us in the characters. I remember years ago, Darren was a horrible human being. He was one dimensional – he’d walk into a conversation and say something horrible to someone’s face.



So I started making him funny – well, as in ‘funny’ that he thinks he’s funny. And when Darren and Nancy met, they were polar opposites – and in that, there is something beautiful. You’d have never put them together – and I think that’s what was so interesting.



Even now, you see that bubbly side to Nancy and Darren’s just there making mistakes! And with this Tony story, it’s nice to see some holes from Nancy’s side, so it’ll be good to see how it all plays out.



The fans love Dancy – what do you make of the reaction to the relationship?



Jessica: I think it’s very flattering. I don’t think there’s another couple that have that fandom and passion behind them. I think it’s a testimony to how much we like working with each other – the writers throw a lot at us, enough to split us up.



They do respond to the audience, so if the audience didn’t want it, we’d be working with other people. But for whatever reason, they do like Darren and Nancy!



What was your reaction to finding out James was coming back?



Ashley: Again, this is something they kept right until the last minute. Even on the script, I was like ‘who is this John guy?!’. Greg is a fantastic actor and they kept the secret – it was a shock moment and that’s what you want. I don’t know where that leads or what’s going to happen there

Hollyoaks’ Lomax-Hay family are preparing to spend Christmas apart this year, but is it too late for the fractured clan to find their way back together?
Still grieving her late daughter Peri, Leela summons the strength to give Clara and birthday boy Daniel a special day. Meanwhile, her brother Ste is spending his day in exile, having been wrongly blamed for the abuse that his son Lucas is inflicting on him.

"Not even Jack and Pearl manage to put a smile on Ste’s face," explains our insider. "With him holing up in his filthy flat, the Lomaxes have no one to cook their pigs in blankets, so resolve to have takeaway pizza instead. After so much loss, this distance is only causing more pain…"

It’s also a difficult festive season for Rex, who spends the day alone, tearfully reflecting on his very difficult year, including his involvement in the horrific exploitation operation and the death of his mum Grace.

With Christmas in tatters, guilty Lucas urges Leela to give Ste another chance. While Leela isn’t full convinced, she listens to her nephew and calls round to see her brother in his flat.

In an emotional scene, Leela asks Ste to spend Christmas with his family – but he turns down the invitation, feeling unable to face cheery celebrations during such a tough time.

However, Ste thankfully has a change of heart and decides to attend the family Christmas after all. He shows up for his loved ones – but with tension still in the air, will things remain harmonious?

As the day continues, Leela has a quiet moment to herself where she speaks to Peri, while Lucas looks to make amends by messaging Dillon in the hope that they can meet up.

Ste later discovers that Rex is spending the day alone at The Loft, and the pair go on a private Christmas walk together.

Rex uses the opportunity to urge Ste to come clean about Lucas’ abuse, insisting that he can’t continue taking the blame for his son’s violent actions.

Ste has so far been committed to protecting Lucas at all costs, but will Rex’s plea encourage him to reveal everything and risk blowing apart his family again?

Hollyoaks star Oscar Curtis has teased a possible next step in the Lucas Hay and Dillon Ray storyline, after several dramatic twists and turns over the last few weeks, while Kieron Richardson has suggested an interesting alternative option.
The former couple have had a rocky time of things from the word go, with Lucas' internalised homophobia before coming out and being put through conversion therapy. Then Dillon got Lucas' sister pregnant, was groomed by a human trafficking gang and became addicted to drugs.

They broke up recently when Dillon learned that Lucas has been physically abusing his dad Ste, who Dillon is secretly in love with. Ste initially rejected his advances, but later began a secret fling.

Complicating things even further is that Ste's on-off boyfriend Rex Gallagher is back on the scene, while James Nightingale is also set to reveal that he's not as dead as believed, and wants to get back with Ste.

On the latest episode of behind-the-scenes show Hollyoaks Unwrapped, Kieron Richardson asked Oscar if he saw a reunion on the cards for Lucas and Dillon.

"Hmmm," he replied after a brief silence. "I think the audience want it and we'd love to do what the audience want, but whatever route the story goes down, that's up to the writers.

"I think there's always gonna be a future for Dillon and Lucas, 'cause the partnership was so strong even though they're always breaking up and there's always a bit of drama, they always get back together. I dunno."

Later on in the episode, a brief video clip from Gregory Finnegan teased that Ste will have a choice to make once James is back in the village.

Joking about Ste's current man predicament, Kieron joked that it's going to be "quite a busy Christmas in the Hay household".

"It'd be quite controversial if Lucas then gets with James," he suggested.

Is Kieron just having a bit of fun, or is he genuinely teasing the possibility of this storyline? It's definitely not out of the realms of possibility for Hollyoaks, but could the soap really go there?
