If those lovable thieves are out on the loose, you know these two aren’t far behind! 🕵️‍♂️🍔

Part 3 of our 1976 Remco series is shining a spotlight on the official protectors of McDonaldland: Mayor McCheese and Officer Big Mac.

The best view in the entire store! Look who is rocking out way up high above the produce section! 🥣🎸

The General Mills Cereal Bowl Band is pure Saturday morning cartoon magic. Watching Lucky the Leprechaun shred on guitar next to the Honey Nut Cheerios Bee and the Trix Rabbit while you’re grabbing your groceries is unmatched.

Jungle Jim’s really knows how to keep the retro vibes alive in every single corner of the store!

Who was your absolute favorite cereal mascot growing up?

Throwing it back to a classic 1970s McDonaldland ad to introduce this absolute gem from my collection: the 1997 McDonaldland Happy Meal Girl doll by Hasbro! 🍔✨

Did you have this doll in the late 90s, or did that 70s intro throw you back even further? Let me know in the comments! 👇

This is ‘The King’ Elvis Lion animatronic singing inside Jungle Jim’s! 🦁👑

Fun fact: I found this out when I was doing some research, but this crooning lion is actually a super rare piece rescued from the old Chuck E. Cheese Pizza Time Theatre era!

👇 Did you ever get to see one of these at Chuck E. Cheese back in the day? Let me know in the comments!

(And get ready, because the Lucky Charms cereal band is dropping tomorrow! 🥣🎸)

Watch your backs... I mean, your FOOD with these two! 🍔🏴‍☠️ One loves hamburgers, and the other loves fa-la-o-fish!

Part 2 of our 1976 Remco mini-series is checking out the ultimate lovable thieves of McDonaldland: Hamburglar and Captain Crook.

Did you have these mischief-makers on your shelf?

It’s definitely bigger on the inside! 🚽

Jungle Jim’s never fails to amaze me with their creativity.

Have you ever seen a port-a-potty do this?

They are best friends now, but Grimace actually started out as a villain!

Back in the early 70s, he was “Evil Grimace”—a four-armed monster who stole milkshakes!

He was way too lovable to stay a bad guy, and these classic 1976 Remco figures are still some of my absolute favorites.

🎬 See them in action: Check out my linked McDonaldland Play Set video to see the whole vintage gang set up!

💬 Do you remember the original four-armed Grimace? Drop your childhood memories below! 👇

Released in 1990 for the NES, Adventures in the Magic Kingdom was developed by Capcom and let players explore a virtual Disney park while completing attraction-themed mini-games. Players helped Mickey Mouse collect six silver keys by conquering challenges based on rides like Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Haunted Mansion. It remains one of the few NES games based on a Disney theme park rather than a movie or cartoon.
