Health and Safety Services Committee
2nd Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.
Committee Charge: Review and recommend legislation and policy concerning public health, public safety, sanitation, police, fire protection, and other health- and welfare-related activities of the City.

Finance Committee
2nd Tuesday, 6:30 p.m.
Committee Charge: Conduct legislative review of the city’s finances, including the annual balanced budget, appropriations, expenditures, bond issuances, special assessments, user fees, and all major revenue and funding sources such as state and federal grants, including Community Development Block Grants.

General Services and Administration Committee
4th Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.
Committee Charge: Provide legislative oversight and policy guidance for street and sewer improvements, street cleaning, waste collection and disposal, bridges and underpasses, water and sewage services, telecommunications, public-utility rates, railway operations, and coordination with the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District.

Committee Charge: Monitor and advise regarding personnel policies, including employee recruitment, compensation, performance evaluation, and make recommendations to the full Council.

Contracts and Property Committee
1st Thursday, 5:30 p.m.
Committee Charge: Provide legislative oversight and policy recommendations on city contracts, redevelopment of blighted areas, property rehabilitation, housing-shortage mitigation, economic and industrial development, land-reutilization programs, and matters relating to the Departments of Community Development, Economic Development, and Building & Housing.
