The independent, listener-supported project is hosted and p

Ganzer covered many things during his nearly 20 years reporting in the US and Europe, from Swiss Parliament to the plight of refugees. Religion and faith have always held a special place.

‘The best antidotes to falsehoods are not strategies, but people: people who are not greedy but ready to listen, people who make the effort to engage in sincere dialogue so that the truth can emerge; people who are attracted by goodness and take responsibility for how they use language..’

Something to keep an eye on: « Archbishop Timothy Broglio said the action “disproportionately harms Catholics” because priests are already in high demand and the Catholic liturgy requires specialized support.

“In canceling these contracts, the Army over-burdens Catholic chaplains, harms chapel communities, and impedes the constitutional guarantee of the free exercise of religion especially for Catholics,” Broglio wrote on Oct. 17. »

Army chaplains in Kaiserslautern say their pastoral burden has become overwhelming since the service canceled contracts for a number of support roles.

Faith Full Podcast

The Faith Full Podcast brings a compelling, narrative audio style to stories about the Catholic faith, spirituality, religion, and life.

The independent, listener-supported, award-winning project is hosted and produced by Tony Ganzer, a long-time public media journalist and writer by trade, and a Catholic by choice and upbringing. He has reported on many things over 15 years in the US and Europe, from Swiss Parliament to the plight of refugees, but religion and faith have always held a special place.

Some say religion is a third-rail for journalists because one wrong move can bring strong reaction. But it's through dialogue that we can better understand parts of our life experiences, and better understand aspects of the Catholic faith.

You can support this project with your prayers, story ideas, or even a donation.
