The Supreme Court has spoken.

Birthright citizenship remains the constitutional rule.

The first line of defense is now border security and enforcement, not the courts. If children born in the U.S. are citizens under the Fourteenth Amendment, preventing unlawful entry is crucial. This impacts children, who shouldn't start life in legal uncertainty due to adults violating immigration laws.

Congress and the Executive Branch must secure the border, enforce laws, and create an immigration system that benefits both Americans and legal entrants.

Micah Miller: The Goodbye That Changed Everything

Still grieving the loss of his parents, Micah Miller faced another heartbreaking choice: stay with the girl he loved or answer the call to become a U.S. Army Ranger.

He chose the harder path.

Micah wasn't chasing glory. He believed some battles had to be fought so others wouldn't have to. Leaving behind the future he'd dreamed of was his next great sacrifice.

Before he became a Ranger, a priest, or faced his greatest evil, there was a goodbye.

A Step in the Right Direction.

The Supreme Court ruled that states may protect girls' sports by reserving them for biological females. But it did not create a nationwide standard.

That means girls' sports are still protected in some states—but not others.

If fairness in women's sports shouldn't depend on your ZIP code, it's time for Congress to act.

What It Means to Be a Patriot

Patriotism is more than waving a flag or supporting a political party.

It isn't believing America is perfect but believing her founding principles are worth preserving.

In my Army career, I never met a soldier who thought America was perfect, but many believed she was worth defending.

To me, a patriot is someone who loves his country enough to faithfully steward its founding principles, willingly accepting the responsibilities and sacrifices necessary to leave it stronger for the next generation.

Our forefathers gave us a Republic; our children will inherit the one we leave them.

What does being a patriot mean to you?

Happy 250th Birthday, America!

Micah Miller: The Tragedy That Shattered His World

Micah Miller thought he was invincible—until one night changed everything.

Flashing red and blue lights pierced the darkness like a nightmare come to life. A police officer spoke, but Micah barely heard the words. His ears rang with the hollow silence that follows an explosion, only this time the blast had detonated inside his heart.

His parents were gone.

A tragic car accident had left a sixteen-year-old boy standing alone in the cold, overwhelmed by grief and struggling to grasp a future that had just been ripped away.

That night forged the man who would become an Army Ranger, a priest, and, eventually, a warrior in a battle unlike anything he could have imagined.

Some heroes aren't born. They're broken first.

The Fallen is the story of how tragedy forged an ordinary young man into an extraordinary warrior.

Was America founded as a Christian nation?

The answer is yes—but not because our Founding Fathers created a theocracy.
They created a constitutional republic built on the belief that our rights come from God, liberty depends upon virtue, and self-government requires a moral and religious people.

George Washington called religion and morality "indispensable supports" of political prosperity. John Adams warned that our Constitution was made only for "a moral and religious People."

Today, many confuse a Christian nation with Christian nationalism. They are not the same. Recognizing America's Christian heritage does not mean advocating a state-run religion. It means acknowledging the moral foundation upon which our Republic was built.

Watch my latest reel, “Christianity Guided America's Founding Fathers,” then read the article at https://markslavik.com/christianity-guided-america/ and decide for yourself.

Also, I encourage every American to spend a few minutes watching Charlie Kirk's presentation, "Are We a Christian Nation?" Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6R_-AvCUsQ&utm_source=chatgpt.com

Happy Birthday, America!

The Danger of Gradualism

Why practicing Christians need to stand their ground.
Freedom rarely disappears in a single dramatic event.

More often, it erodes quietly through small compromises that seem harmless at the time.

What is tolerated becomes accepted. What is accepted becomes celebrated. What is celebrated becomes expected. What is expected eventually becomes enforced.

History shows that religious liberty, freedom of conscience, and moral truth are often narrowed gradually, not suddenly. The challenge for Christians is to recognize the pattern before it is too late.

Truth is worth defending while we still have the freedom to defend it.

UFC versus Pride Events at the White House

I wouldn't have hosted either event at the White House. But if I had to choose between celebrating America's best athletes competing in the UFC Octagon or featuring drag performers at a White House Pride celebration, I'd choose the Octagon every time.

Annual Pride Month receptions at the White House were started by President Obama. The Biden administration greatly increased the scope of LGBTQ events celebrated there.

"The White House should be a symbol of unity for all Americans, not a platform for promoting controversial sexual ideologies.” - Bill Donohue (Catholic League)

I believe that Presidents Obama and Biden's administrations' promotion and glorification of transgender ideology harmed vulnerable people and deepened our nation's cultural divide.

For a long list of the transgender events held at the White House, see: https://markslavik.com/lgbtq-events-at-the-white-housee/

Every Warrior Has a Beginning.

Who is Micah Miller?

Former Army Ranger. Former Catholic priest. Widower.

A man who believes he failed everyone he ever loved.
When a powerful conspiracy begins targeting Christianity, the Vatican turns to the one man who has spent years trying to disappear.

Micah doesn't fight for revenge. He fights to protect.

His team, Gideon's Sword, uncovers a conspiracy spanning Washington and the Vatican—one determined to reshape

America's moral foundation and silence those who stand in its way.

As the evidence mounts, so do the stakes:
• Government power turned against people of faith.
• Religious liberty under mounting pressure.
• Cultural battles that threaten the nation's moral foundation.
• Radical ideologies competing for the hearts and minds of the next generation.
• Open borders, social division, and a country struggling to remember who it is.

For Micah, this isn't politics. It's personal.

Because protecting the innocent has become the one thing
keeping him alive.

The Man Who Refused to Sell His Conscience

What principle would you refuse to compromise... even if it cost you your career?

Saint Thomas More had everything most leaders spend a lifetime pursuing: influence, wealth, prestige, and one of the highest offices in England.

Then one signature changed everything.

He refused to sign.
He lost his position.
He lost his freedom.
He lost his life.

Nearly 500 years later, his story may be more relevant than ever for executives, business leaders, public officials, military officers, and anyone facing pressure to compromise.

Integrity is rarely tested when it's convenient. It's tested when it costs you something.

Read why Thomas More remains one of history's greatest examples of principled leadership: https://markslavik.com/saint-thomas-more/

Saint Thomas More – When Doing the Right Thing Costs Everything I believe Saint Thomas More is one of the greatest “modern” saints for business leaders because he lived at the intersection of faith, politics, business, law, family, and executive leadership. Unlike many saints, he was not a mon...
