Why won’t PORSCHE be able to join FORMULA 1 in 2026?
What went WRONG for one of GERMANY’S most ICONIC car BRANDS?
Well, PORSCHE came really CLOSE with RED BULL — but here’s the CATCH:
PORSCHE wanted to BUY 50% of RED BULL’S entire F1 OPERATION — and gain major CONTROL.
But RED BULL wasn’t looking to SELL.
They just wanted a PARTNER for their new POWERTRAINS division — which they ended up finding in FORD.
PORSCHE also had TALKS with other TEAMS — including McLAREN — but they completely MISREAD the modern F1 LANDSCAPE.
Years ago, teams might’ve JUMPED at the chance to team up with a name like PORSCHE — for the MONEY and PRESTIGE.
But today’s GRID? STRONGER than EVER. No one was DESPERATE.
Teams weren’t willing to give up CONTROL — or worse, ditch LEGENDARY names like McLAREN or WILLIAMS — just to put “PORSCHE” on the CAR.
And unlike AUDI — which straight-up BOUGHT SAUBER and is BUILDING its own ENGINE — PORSCHE wanted too much CONTROL without bringing enough to the TABLE.
In the END, PORSCHE got GREEDY — and FORMULA 1 said NO.

Do you know why Formula 1 tires are absolutely useless in real life? These tires are made exclusively for dry race tracks and for driving at insanely high temperatures. Try putting them on a regular car, and it will turn into a death trap on wheels. But here’s the craziest part.
A single set of Formula 1 tires costs over three thousand dollars. And they fall apart after just about one hundred and twenty-five miles of racing. Regular car tires can last up to thirty-seven thousand miles.
Why? Pirelli could easily make tires that would last an entire season and still deliver great performance. But Formula 1 specifically requires fragile and expensive tires so there are more pit stops, more strategies, and more drama. So Formula 1 tires are not about durability — they are all about the show.

Can one win if driving at 100 miles per hour, the car breaks down, and the road disappears? That’s exactly what happened to Sébastien Loeb at the 2005 Monte Carlo Rally.
At first, everything seemed to be going to plan—Loeb was driving the Citroën Xsara, one of the best cars of the time. But after a few stages, trouble started to strike. First, the suspension became too stiff due to temperature fluctuations, making it difficult to handle the car on wet and slippery corners. And that was just the beginning.
Then, a steering issue made the wheel less responsive, leaving Loeb unable to rely on the precision of the car’s handling. He had no choice but to trust his instincts.
The worst came when thick fog rolled in—visibility was near zero. Loeb got lost on the stage, and a snowbank nearly sent him off the road. With communication to his team lost, the only thing left was to rely on his gut feeling. And it was that very intuition that guided him to victory.

Formula 1 once held a race that lasted… just two laps.
No overtakes. No battles.
And yes — they still gave out points.
Welcome to Belgium 2021 — or as fans now call it, “The race that wasn’t.”
It rained all weekend at Spa, but Sunday was a total washout.
Zero visibility. Rivers of water on the track.
Drivers couldn’t see a thing.
Still, the FIA kept delaying the start — hoping for a break in the weather.
After over three hours, the cars finally went out…
but only behind the safety car.
They completed two laps.
Nobody was allowed to race. Then the red flag came out.
And just like that — race over.
But here’s the crazy part:
Because they did two full laps, it counted as a race under the rules.
That meant half points were awarded, and George Russell got a podium in a Williams… without making a single overtake.
Fans were furious.
Media tore into it. Even drivers called it a “joke.”
It led to a major rewrite of the rulebook the following year.
Spa 2021 is now known as the shortest race in F1 history.
Two laps, no racing, and a podium that felt more like a photo op.
Sometimes… F1 makes history for all the wrong reasons.

HAVE YOU HEARD this HEARTBREAKING RADIO MESSAGE? This is PROBABLY the SADDEST RADIO MESSAGE in the HISTORY of MOTORSPORT.
But WHAT is he TALKING ABOUT? WHAT even HAPPENED?
Well, this is ARJUN MAINI, an INDIAN RACING DRIVER who, at the TIME, was COMPETING in FORMULA 2.
FORMULA 2 is MEANT to be a SPEC SERIES RACE, meaning that ALL DRIVERS are GIVEN EQUAL MACHINERY. But MAINI became INCREDIBLY EMOTIONAL after his CAR was just NOT PROVIDING him with ANY STRAIGHT-LINE SPEED. He COMPLAINED that F2 was NOT PROVIDING UP-TO-STANDARD EQUIPMENT and that PEOPLE DID NOT BELIEVE HIM.
SHORTLY AFTER, the TRIDENT TEAM ANALYZED the DATA and, after APPROACHING the F2 AUTHORITIES, MAINI was GIVEN a NEW ENGINE.
LATER THAT SEASON, his TEAMMATE, FERRUCCI, RAN MAINI OFF the TRACK in a RACE at SILVERSTONE CIRCUIT and THEN CRASHED into the BACK of MAINI’S CAR—LATER in the SAME RACE—AFTER the CHECKERED FLAG had been WAVED. BOTH of these ACTIONS were FOUND to be DELIBERATE, and TRIDENT APOLOGIZED to MAINI.
FERRUCCI also “APPEARED to MOCK” MAINI on TWITTER over his RANT about the CAR’S POWER.
FERRUCCI was BANNED for SEVERAL RACES and was FIRED by TRIDENT SHORTLY THEREAFTER due to THESE INCIDENTS and OTHERS.
So, THIS is PROBABLY one of the SADDEST STORIES in the HISTORY of RACING CAREERS… ISN’T IT?

Where do Formula One drivers actually come from? You might think it’s simple: wherever they were born, that’s the country they represent. But it’s not that straightforward. Most drivers live in Monaco — yet how often do you see them racing under the Monégasque flag? And sometimes, even citizenship doesn’t matter. What truly decides it… is the racing license.
That license determines which flag a driver races under. And the perfect example? Nico Rosberg. He’s the son of Finnish World Champion Keke Rosberg, and his mother is German. He was born in Germany, grew up in Monaco, and spent years living in Spain and England. With all those connections, he had plenty of options. So, what did he choose?
At first — Finland, like his father. But then… he suddenly switched to a German racing license. Why? Because it made it easier to get sponsorship support. In Formula One, it’s not always about heritage. Sometimes, it’s all about strategy.

What was Stradman’s MOST EXPENSIVE mistake? He owns supercars worth MILLIONS, but not all of his decisions were successful. Some cost him INSANE AMOUNTS OF MONEY, while others nearly destroyed his entire career. But which one turned into a TOTAL DISASTER?
One of his biggest failures was buying a wrecked Lamborghini Gallardo. He thought he was getting a supercar at a great price, but then he realized that the repairs cost MORE than the car itself. In the end, he spent a fortune and got NOTHING in return.
But that was NOT THE WORST. In 2019, Stradman took out loans to buy EXPENSIVE SUPERCARS, assuming his YouTube income would cover everything. But things DID NOT GO AS PLANNED—money got dangerously low, and he almost WENT BANKRUPT.
And his BIGGEST MISTAKE was taking that risk with loans for supercars. At that moment, he was one step away from FINANCIAL RUIN, and if things had not turned around, he could have lost EVERYTHING.

What happened to George Russell after the race in Singapore?!

You will not believe what happened to George Russell after the race in Singapore. He finished fourth, but when he climbed out of the cockpit, he could barely stand on his feet. The temperature inside the car had climbed to more than one hundred and twenty-two degrees Fahrenheit.
The air felt as heavy as in a sauna, and breathing became harder with every lap. Over the course of the race, he lost nearly nine pounds of body weight just through sweat. His body was simply overheated.
Right after the finish, Russell suffered a panic attack. His breathing was out of control, his muscles stopped responding, and he could hardly walk. He was rushed to an ice bath to cool his body and bring back his strength.
This moment was captured in the series Drive to Survive and showed just how inhuman the physical demands on Formula One drivers can be. Sometimes the fight is not only for positions on the track, but also for control over their own bodies.
