Northeast Ohio will get a taste of fall Monday, although Lake Erie will remain rough and a few showers may linger in the far eastern snowbelt. Temperatures will climb through Wednesday before scattered showers and thunderstorms return Thursday, followed by drier weather Friday and into the weekend. Be careful out there! Thunderstorms are rolling through Northeast Ohio, with winds and downpours. I got these shots from Brooklyn looking west. This cell had a tornado warning with it earlier, but that has been canceled.

If you get a chance to get outside Friday, DO IT! Northeast Ohio will see plenty of sunshine with comfortable humidity and highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Unfortunately, the weather will take a turn Saturday. A cold front will bring storms, some of which could be strong to severe. It feels weird to think about winter when temperatures are still warm and we have fall to get through, but the Farmers' Almanac is already looking ahead to what we can expect. Wednesday will feature hit-or-miss showers for Northeast Ohio as a cold front makes its way across the region.
