Of course, the weather will be perfect.
See you there!
Brazos Valley Farmer's Market, Saturday morning: have to say that this is the nicest, most appreciate group of people I've played for in Texas. That includes the shoppers AND the vendors. Warm applause after most of the songs. lots of heartfelt compliments, smiles, laughs, generous tips, gifts of home-made bread and jelly, plants for my winter garden. The high point was whenever couples danced, including a young dad with his two year-old daughter putting on some amazing moves. It made my day. Matter of fact, I haven't smiled so much in a long time. To these good people I offer my sincere thanks. You have, for now, restored my faith in humanity.
Will be performing at the Brazos Valley Farmer's Market from 9:00 to 12:00 noon. Of course, it will be a perfect fall day.
I will also be performing at New Republic Brewing on Thursday, November 9, from 6:00 until 9:00 or so.
I'll be playing quite a few new tunes,. Hope to see you at either or both.
Please share this info with friends, family, and co-workers. Thanks!

Due to a communication problem in Bryan, I won't be playing for First Friday this week. It seems Parker Crossing had already booked a band. Ah, show biz. Anybody want to meet somewhere and have some laughs?
I just heard from Stephen Guetersloh at the Zoigl Brewery. The amount I gave you all was not correct. We're getting another $169 from the till at the brewery, bringing our total to $519 for the night!! We're talking about getting a food truck to come in with us and raise money on a regular basis, while folks get to enjoy good food, music, and pleasant surroundings! I really like this idea!! Good news Darin Paine!!
Good news! After a slow start at the Zoigl Brewery last night, quite a few music-loving (and generous) people showed up. We made $350 for the local relief efforts of the 4H Foundation. Thank you all, and a special thanks to Joe Hastings,l Kendel Toomer Hastings, Mia Kleinhenz Leland, Bob Leland, Elaine Everett, Tony and Whitney Kellett Cahill, and Katrin Cain!
Bryan First Friday I'll be playing at Zoigl Brewery. Any money I make foes to the 4H Foundation, which will get money to 4H Clubs in counties affected by the hurricane. This will get kids involved in projects helping to rebuild their own communities. Sounds like a good idea to me. Music starts at 6:00.
Stephen Guetersloh and I are going to partner up for First Friday at the Zoigl Brewing Co. to raise money for Harvey disaster relief. We will be going through the 4H Foundation which will get 100% of the money donated to all affected counties. I will donate all of my earnings (tips) to the effort. Come on out, have a couple brews, and listen to some music, and help some people who are hurting. Music will start at about 6:00.
As part of Downtown Bryan First Friday, I will be doing a music performance this Friday at Zoigl Beers on 211 William J Bryan Parkway in Bryan (behind Square One). Music will start at 6:00.
