What the f…. At least I caught it before the valve springs completely ate the seals! 🤣 all I ask is that supertechperformance clearly labels the dual valve springs as needing different valve stem seal than the stock intake and exhaust sold separately. Save idiots like myself from themselves. In total transparency they’ve been helpful! Which says a lot!!!

We will go ahead and pretend the backfire of my own car didn’t make me jump… it lives to fight another day after another amateur wiring job by yours truly. My neighbors love me I’m sure.

Well that should make it look better once I get it secured and the wires wrapped.

I’m at that point again. I just want to drive this. I flattened the pan fl**ge out, just need to figure out the 3 wire bmw iacv and if I want to helicoil the two semi-stripped bolts that are over the exhaust for the oil pan. Just not sure there’s enough material there in the mid block support plate. Otherwise I could technically throw it together and drive it.

I may have a 4cyl Japanese car… but there’s something soothing about the sound of American v8s racing. Call me crazy but I moved here knowing they had a track and it’s absolutely baffling why someone would complain about the sound. Thankfully I haven’t heard of anyone doing that here. Pretty sure it’s my dad’s fault. Every time he’d hear Harley’s cruising down the McKenzie Highway he’d say “They’re playing the song of my people”

Well… remind me why I like rare things? This thing should be fixed once and for all. Just need some assistance from for a new fl**ge. Thanks to for allowing me access to a dwg to get the fl**ge scaled from. Then I just need someone willing to weld a new fl**ge in this abomination of a pan. The top half is stock… the bottom half is part of the original world challenge racing program. Stock fl**ge with all that extra weight is bent to hell 🤣 definitely not the mechanics fault.

One of these days I’ll get back into car stuff. I just got busy enough, professionally, to be on the road and working a ton… which I brought in myself. Between family, home projects, work, mental health, and apparently little sleep… there just hasn’t been an opportunity to finish adding the fuse box or pulling the oil pan! Which are really the two big things holding me back. Well and I gotta patch a vacuum leak, I mean, an idle air control valve. When I remember hearing the words, “get a job that will enable your dreams” no one told me it might take the time I have to pursue ALL of those dreams 🤣. It really be like that sometimes.
